Highlight of our whole Japan trip. Thankyou Take
Pros:

The owner was lovely and very helpful. Offered to take us to the shops for groceries

Cons:

It was a little walk from everywhere we needed to go but public transport definitely helped aswell as the owner

Affordable with evrything you need and great hosts. Would recommend a stay at Pals Inn Raicho
Pros:

Hosts were very helpful and easy for us to communicate given we speak English only. Outdoor Fire tub was great and an unexpected bonus in addition to the Onsen. Great the shuttle to Goryu/Hakuba 47 was so accessible also.

Cons:

Onsen open hours are limited to afternoon/evenings which is fine but morning showertime is also restricted to 6.30 to 8am. Not really an issue but catch me out after a sleep in on rest day.

Awesome Japanese experience.
Pros:

Owner and staff were fantastic, very clean and well run pension, the onsen was great and the outside hot tub was bookable a few nights a week and was a real treat. Breaky each morning changed and was always delicious. Beds comfy. We had a car and there was plenty of parking and was honestly the best way to get around the valley (there is a bus stop to local hill right outside the property).

A wonderful experience with people who go above and beyond.
Pros:

Every amenity was carefully thought out for guests’ comfort and convenience. Outdoor hot bath was amazing. The Dojo was more amazing. The food, service were top notch & walkability to slopes was bonus.

Cons:

Absolutely nothing to dislike.

小房子方便煮食，位置一流，staff nice，免費停車。唯冇水洗廁所+地方細（裝備擠），整體值！4.5星😊❄️🏂
Pros:

性價比高！2層小房子，上層睡房、下層廚房+廁所+shower+洗衣機，廚具齊全，可自己煮。位置超近，shuttle bus 方便去其他雪場。有中文staff nice，免費停車。

Cons:

廁所冇水洗（雖有暖座暖笠笠），空間有限（6人滑雪裝備），涼衣設施唔太夠，有點擠

Great little Japanese lodge with a fantastic breakfast.
Pros:

- Breakfast each morning was fantastic value for money. The breakfast is Japanese style and was large enough for me to get going before skiing.
- the rooms were well heated aswell as having an opening window if you needed to cool it down at all.
- ski boot room dried well
- a positive or negative depending on how you look at it: the only showers were in the Onsen. I have no issues with this but some people may.
- beds are comfortable.
- there are plenty of options for dinner within a 10 minute walk.
- The owner kindly dropped us off at the bus stop so we didn’t need to walk or get a taxi. Staff were over all fantastic.

If you are looking for a 5 star hotel, this is not it! It is a lodge with very clean communal facilities.

Cons:

it is very difficult to get in to Happo and echo land after ski times. This is really only an issue if you need to go there to get something or have dinner. Taxi is about 3000 JPY each way. If you are happy in Goryu this won’t impact you!
