the beautiful lobby
Very disappointing stay.
The hotel looks completely different from the photos. The lobby is modern, stylish, and newly renovated, which creates the impression of a high-quality hotel. Unfortunately, the rooms are the exact opposite.
The rooms were extremely small, outdated, and in poor condition. The walls were dirty, the floor was dirty, and the overall appearance was neglected and worn out. We booked two standard rooms, and neither of them matched the photos shown on the booking website.
The contrast between the beautiful lobby and the actual rooms is shocking and feels misleading.
The rooms were simply ugly — very, very ugly. We would not stay here again and cannot recommend this hotel based on our experience.

The breakfast was average, but was needed as prices in Geneva are very high, so was good to have a coffee and full belly for the day!
We couldn't visit the spa and pool due to our busy schedule and when we had time for the pool it was past 11pm and closed.
the rowdy atmosphere at the front of the hotel but the back entrance was better. anyway, it is Paquis and the rowdiness is expected. the hotel itself was had a good ambience so it made up for the deficiency outside.
Friendly welcome and fast check in. Rooms were nicely decorated and appreciated the kettle/coffee machine. Excellent beds. Very close to the lake and train station, both within a 5 minute walk.
Spa area was very hot and the treadmill kept cutting out. The surrounding areas have an adult entertainment presence that some visitors might find noticeable. The hotel staff are very aware of this and try to make you feel comfortable.
