Pros:

The people managing the hotel are very friendly, they'll help you out navigate Baku and recommend the right places to buy things and where to go. Problem is that the hotel is very far from the centre, and with no proper public transportation in place in the area, as well as no street lights. Even if the room is cheap, you'll end up compensating in Taxi trips to the centre. The doors are not in very good shape and most of them do not lock. The beds are not very comfortable, but for the price you're paying you cannot expect more.
