Interesting hotel. Lots of things I like, such as the location. easy to get to all the attractions without the annoyance of Time Square and other spots in the city. Friendly staff and an old world charm. Also quite noisy from the street traffic. Ask for a high floor room in the back of the hotel or you may not be sleeping during your stay. We had to ask for a room change. The initial room on a mid-level floor on a corner facing Lexington Avenue was absolutely brutal for the night noise.
Great location, amenities and we're flexible with check out
Very loud heating system that disrupted my sleep, tv system played up, no instructions on how to call down to reception, wifi could have been better.
Excellent location
The heat was not stable
I would like to thank Jeniffer Lee (housekeeper) for your reliability and positive attitude. After being stuck in NYC due to the blizzards you made my stay as if I was home. It’s clear that you genuinely care about your work. Thank you for all the effort you put in, hope to see you around soon xx
Extremely disappointed with this hotel’s service and negligence.
I left expensive Lululemon clothes in my room after switching rooms. Housekeeping did not check the room properly and rented it to the next guest right away. Even after I notified the hotel immediately, they did NOT retrieve my items from the next guest upon check‑out, and my clothes were taken.
Staff promised compensation but have ignored all my emails since I left New York.
No accountability, no follow‑through, terrible guest service.
Our trip was amazing! Felipe spoiled us with a late check out, Imrana kept us safe, and Ramay treated us at the gift shop. These dudes genuinely care about our experience and how we consider top tier service. They exceeded our expectations and we are extremely grateful for their professionalism. I would highly recommend this resort to anybody coming to experience NY for the first time 🤙
Great Location (approx. 15min walk to Times Sq, Broadway etc)
Hotel clean, we had a lovely quiet room with great side view.
Free bottled water from hotel shop and we requested a kettle for our room from reception. All the staff were very helpful, Thank you
Hotel gives 35 dollar credit from tourist tax to use on food and drink from bar but beware of bar prices !! Breakfast for us was not value for money (family of 4, it was 145 dollars per day !!) We used Park Ave Kitchen across the road, lovely well priced options for breakfast and lunch and Starbucks for coffee.
Con: 3 dollar charge for each item left with door staff when checking in or out (This is excessive and cash only payment !! - I question why such a standard of hotel is charging such, this should be a free service).
Overall we enjoyed our stay and we would definitely stay here again but we would be better organised to prevent being overcharged.
Where should I start? Right when I entered the hotel, a gentleman promptly offered his help. While I stood in line to check in, I was struck by the stunning lobby. During the check-in process, I encountered a delightful woman named Nicole. She was friendly and attentive to every request. I shared my concerns with her, and she quickly provided a solution. Nicole assigned us a lovely room with a fantastic view and arranged for a mini fridge. Although it was a bit warm, we truly enjoyed our stay. The room was spotless, and the noise level was surprisingly low given the location.
Great location and gym
The room was very dated, the temperature dial for the shower was not fixed on and fell off marking the bath. The toilet also didn’t flush properly. Breakfast felt fairly expensive for what was offered.
This should be called a hostel at best, one of New York’s coldest nights, no heat, window will not close, room did not get above 60F. Called at 3am, engineering arrived at 8.15am. This place is a disaster avoid at all costs.
I liked the location and comfortability of the beautiful view and the atmosphere in the hotel!!!!
None
The location is great and the staff is friendly but.....the hotel rooms need a massive upgrade. The first room they gave me was 75 degrees and they couldn't fix the temp so it was either 75 or 66 and it was right off the elevator which sounded like a freight train coming into the room. They kindly moved me to another room on the 28th floor. Lovely but EVERY hour, the pipes cranked LOUDLY....and I mean all night long. It was a nightmare and I asked for a different room and they said they didn't have any other options. When I checked out, I mentioned the pipe noise and she said "oh yes, everyone complains about that". Really? You know you have an issue and you still place people in the room and ask them to pay for it? Plenty of other hotel options.
