The breakfast choices were not as good as you would expect .. only sweet choices are available
Good
1 room key?
Good price
Nice staff
Small breakfast items.
Jackhammering in the daytime. It’s fine, I get it, but there was nothing stopping some rocks from flying and hitting my car, definitely had a few nicks and tons of dust from jackhammering the pool concrete. Even something as simple as putting up a tarp on the fence would have helped greatly.
Cheap
Dirty bedsheets and really poor breakfast.
Customer experiwnce is goos
Too bare min breakfast. Small room. No carpet. Too small towels. Too small soaps.
The location and price were decent and the parking was free, which were the driving factors in booking the room, as well as the decent reviews it had for comparable properties. The water pressure in the shower was solid (our favorite part of our stay). There were multiple amenities in the room such as a fridge, microwave (hard to find microwaves in rooms anymore!), coffee maker, and ironing board (but no iron). There was a continental breakfast, but we checked out early and weren't able to try it, so I can't speak to the quality/value. The A/C unit was easy to use. There was a surprisingly nice/modern mirror and an eco friendly toilet (pee/poo flushing options).
We booked a non-smoking room, and even if it is currently marked as non-smoking, it overwhelmingly smelled like old, stale smoke, so if you book those rooms because you're sensitive to the smell, be warned. The walls were thin and we heard everything - the person with the very creaky door who left exiting and entering their room next to us, and since we were right next to the highway, it sounded like we were sleeping on the sidewalk. The weird thing we saw right away was the tissue pressed into the peephole in the door....because it was broken and blocking the cold? There was an ironing board, but no iron and no hair dryer, so be forewarned if you rely on those when traveling. The bathroom needed some TLC: the tub had a layer flaking off of it (if you wanted a bath....no....just, no...), the toilet roll was broken, at least 1 towel was covered in someone else's hair, the towels were small and rough (didn't work well to "wrap" in), and the shampoo/conditioner/body wash mounted/refillable containers were crusted over and dingy - if it loads for you, here is a video of me pressing down on the conditioner and it shooting out sideways because the crusty pump only had a small opening on the side for the body wash to exit through: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1UQPi9OdIu5CdlUHo3ZZ0UkGlz-tiskQp/view?usp=drive_link (not appealing, but it did make me laugh). None of these made me feel unsafe or particularly uncomfortable but it was only a step above that.
Nothing.
All of it our sheets were ripped and when we asked for new ones they gave us sheets with mystery stains. The phone in the room didn’t work and the wifi was unavailable.
