It was quiet… Close to lots of food & shopping places (2-5 mins)
Could’ve been a little cheaper but I feel the prices were still reasonable. (I blame the economy lol)
Nicely renovated room, very affordable
Staff, location, and price.
Inside humidity
The room was very basic, but it was all I needed for a quick 1 overnight stay and early departure. The bed was comfortable, the room was quiet and the shower was hot.
Pitiful breakfast
Is a great location for what we have planned to do around Niceville.
The property was good, it was quiet , but a distance away from shops.

There were chickens on the grounds walking freely, we stayed in a room that had mold on the sheets. The staff was very inconsiderate.
We stayed at this hotel in Destin, Florida over the Fourth of July weekend, and it was hands down the worst hotel experience I’ve ever had. We booked four rooms for our family and stayed two nights – which was two nights too many.
First, the AC went out the first night—in Florida, in JULY. It was miserable. We started calling the front desk at 7 AM, and it wasn’t “fixed” until 6 PM that evening… only for it to go out again 15–20 minutes later. It took five complaints just to get them to even attempt fixing it, and when we requested a different room that morning, we were told the hotel was fully booked. Only late that night did they offer us another room, and even then, they told us the delay was because others had paid for early check-in. Seriously?
On top of the AC disaster, the room was filthy. There were maggots in the bathroom, the bathtub didn’t drain, there was red hair stuck on the shower wall (none of us have red hair), and the carpet felt stiff and sticky like it hadn’t been cleaned in weeks. The washer and dryer ruined our clothes, and the parking lot looked like a landfill—trash everywhere.
The staff didn’t seem to care at all. Not once did anyone apologize for our awful stay. No one showed any kind of hospitality or accountability. I’ve stayed in budget motels cleaner and more responsive than this place. When we complained at checkout, they acted completely indifferent.
They promised us a refund for one night. That was over a month ago, and we’re still dealing with the runaround. First, they said the manager wasn’t there (he wouldn’t be back until Tuesday). Then they asked for my mom’s card number to process the refund, only to later say it was refunded to a different card (mine), even though I never gave them my info. Nothing about this makes sense, and I still haven’t received a dime.
Do NOT stay here. Pay the extra $50 a night and go across the street to the Marriott—or better yet, stay on the beach. You’ll have a cleaner room and better service.
It was convenient for delivery options.
