Our stay at Caesar Augustus was absolutely wonderful. The service throughout was warm, attentive, and very professional. We were pleasantly surprised with an upgrade to a beautiful suite that featured a large private terrace—perfect for enjoying the breathtaking views.

AnaCapri itself is charming and serene, and I personally enjoyed it even more than Capri. The setting of the hotel provides spectacular panoramic views that make the entire experience feel special and unique.

Our lunch here was absolutely wonderful. We arrived to the most breathtaking views in Anacapri — the kind that make you stop, smile, and soak it all in. From the moment we sat down, the service was warm, genuine, and effortlessly attentive, setting the tone for a truly special experience.

The food was exceptional — fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. Each dish highlighted the best of local ingredients and Italian tradition, perfectly complementing the stunning setting.

We loved it so much that we returned later that evening for sunset drinks, and it was pure magic. Watching the sky turn gold and pink while enjoying a perfectly mixed cocktail, we were treated like absolute royalty.

It was one of those rare places where everything — the view, the food, the ambiance, and the care from the staff — came together perfectly. A highlight of our time in Anacapri, and a spot we would return to in an instant.

Excellent hotel, good service in one of the best part of capri

You are greeted at the door at reception and shown around the property and they strive to please you. Rooms and amenities are luxury quality. Breakfast buffet is great with proper settings and indoors, which is great because you can eat without bees attaching you. Nice robes, slippers, towels and amenities. They do a turn down service with fresh towels. The best asset to this hotel is the amazing view, you are at the top of a huge cliff in Anacapri facing the ocean, Napoli and Sorrento. The only con is the hotel is on a busy street neighboring a children sports camp and can be noisy all day. It’s about 10-15 minute walking distance to restaurants and shopping.

We had the best stay at Caesar Augustus. Everything was wonderful, beautiful and perfect. The views are absolutely magical, the suites are gorgeous and the staff is courteous, warm and helpful. They welcomed us with a lovely handwritten note and provided us with fresh lemon tortas each day of our stay which was a lovely surprise. I highly recommend this hotel if you are looking for a classy, beautiful and relaxing experience.

We had a gorgeous lunch here. The views were stunning. We also purchased to use the pool and it was a stunning pool. It was crystal clean. The grounds were fantastic. We had the best afternoon here, it was a highlight of our trip. We can't wait to come back.

After staying at luxury hotels in more than 50 countries, I can honestly say this one is by far the best one. The Caesars Augustus hotel is a perfect mix of modern luxury and old heritage. Stunning views around the property and definitely the best spot for watching the sunset in Capri.

The hotel staff were professional and polite, catering to our every need. The rooms had every amenity you could need, including a choice of what type of feathered pillows you want.

If you want to treat yourself to a luxury stay that is 100% worth the money, this is the one!

The Augustus Caesar in Ana Capri is a beautiful hotel with a fun indoor bar, nice pool, shaded outdoor patio lunch restaurant, and delicious food and excellent service. Rooms are nice and good air conditioning. I would highly recommend! Ana Capri is at the top of a cliff overlooking the ocean. Go to one of the shoe stores in downtown village of Ana and get sandals custom made for your foot& or shop for a nice leather purse. Other clothing boutiques are worth a visit as well for beautiful but not too ritzy.
Take a cab or the tram down to Capri restaurants. Capri boutiques are like Rodeo Drive in LA - Haute couture name brands which are not my thing.
Rent a private boat with a driver for the day to go swim in the Grotto Azure, visit the Grotto Violeta and Grotto Blanco.
Have a drink in the fancy bar in the middle of town for people watching or viewing celebrities. Fun times in Ana Capri & Capri! Great Resturants everywhere!

Wonderful hotel with some of the most magnificent views on the island. The staff is very welcoming, professional and attentive. The food is great.

Without a doubt one of the best hotels I've had the pleasure to stay in. The property is a beautiful 19th century private summer palace converted into a beautiful hotel. The interiors are stylishly decorated and furnished. The rooms are spacious with incredible views. The service was impeccable, from the moment we arrived at the port there was a porter waiting to greet us and handle the transfer of our luggage to the hotel. The transfer from the port was in a BMW driven by Allesandro. We were greeted at the property by Angelo who was welcoming and ensured a smooth cheque in process. We spent an afternoon at the pool which has terrific views of the bay of Naples and some time trying out their cozy outdoor gym which is surrounded by plenty of trees and the hotel's garden where they grow fruit and vegetables. The breakfast was outstanding with plenty of fresh fruit, delicious tomatoes grown on the property and a wide selection of delicious pastries and desserts. Thank you to the staff for a wonderful and relaxing stay.

The hotel has an amazing bar, two restaurants and a beautiful pool, all with the best views in Capri and we didn‘t want to go outside anymore - especially since you can see the whole island from here anyway.
