Wonderful day in Edinburgh
Pros:

Location, location, location, and a beautiful view of the Edinburgh Castle.

Cons:

The shower situation was unusual and I think can be remedied by adding a lip around the showerhead and drain

Pros:

The location was great. Close to main attractions and public transport. Lots of places to eat, shopping and all.

Cons:

The bathroom didn't have an extractor vent, so it was like a sauna every time you take a shower 😂 I guess it was ok.. Just needed to make sure the door was always closed after shower otherwise the room would get damp.
Definitely didn't get a view of the castle, but rather over some courtyard with ventilation pipes.

Disappointing Mount Royal
Pros:

Beds were comfortable.

Cons:

I upgraded too the classic room and was very disappointed. The room had a only a closet for hanging clothes which already contained a ironing board and a hair dryer which was on the floor and only FIVE hangers, joining it was three small shelves one of which held the safe, there were no drawers whatsoever in the room, considering we were there for FIVE days it was completely unacceptable there was nowhere to hang coats.Upon complaining to the manageress she said all she could offer was some more hangers and a complimentary drink each.
Breakfast cold plates and just warm food.
On the whole very very disappointed for the price i payed.

Would stay here again but ensure a room at the front of the hotel
Pros:

Excellent location - very close to Waverley station.
Staff extremely friendly and accommodating
Good breakfast and meal in restaurant excellent

Cons:

Had a room at the back of the hotel so view from window disappointing - building site and fire escape was the view.
Think the staff in the restaurant, which was newly opened, required further training

Tolle Lage mit super Ausblick. Bequeme Betten. Geräumiges Zimmer.

Cons:

Keine Minibar (Kühlschrank) im Zimmer. Keine Lüftung im Klo/Bad. Zimmer extrem hellhörig - wenn das Nebenzimmer den Fernseher anhat hört man alles mit. Shampoospender hat nicht gut funktioniert. Shampoo und Seife in der Dusche waren mit Wasser gestreckt. Kein Klobesen.

Great hotel! I would stay there again!
Pros:

Everything was great! Although I arrived late, there were people waiting for me who were very polite and kind! Also, the breakfast was amazing, not to mention the view of Edinburgh Castle!

Cons:

My room had a balcony with an amazing view, which was great! However, there was quite a heavy draught, despite the closed windows and pulled curtains.

Caro pero el hotel esta bien
Pros:

La ubicacion esta muy bien, fuera del centro pero a 10 mins
Conexion directa y rapida con el aeropuerto con un bus, el airlink, 30 mins

Cons:

El precio. Fue carisimo, fuimos en puente y salio a 350€ la noche, totalmente hinchado y desmesurado para lo que es.
La ducha no tenia nada de presion.
Los ubers no pueden parar en la puerta y eso dificulta un poco la estancia

Room with the view worth the extra!
Pros:

We booked the deluxe king room with the view and were not disappointed! The double balcony was an incredible way to view Edinburgh one last time. The hotel is also super conveniently located to both the tram and bus stops for the airport

Despite the massive room, the bathroom is small and the shower design means the floors are likely to get wet if you are not cautious

À refaire sans hésiter avec cet hôtel mais avec un meilleur choix de chambre :)
Pros:

Petit déjeuner de qualité, lit confortable. L'espace de lounge vient d'être refait, on ressent le "neuf" :)
Très bien placé dans Princes st. : à proximité du national galleries, de old Town, du château, victoria st. etc.

Cons:

Nous avons pris un chambre pour 3 personnes. Il peut avoir des chambres témoins avec la plus belle vue et composition, mais entre les photos Booking et la réalité il y avait une différence. Malgré la gentillesse de l'hôtesse d'accueil, nous avons essayé de changer de chambre car la notre était très sombre, humide (à cause d'une fenêtre qui ne fermait pas)..
Ils ont fait le nécessaire pour nous l'a changé mais nous nous sommes habitués à la literie qui était bonne et nous ne voulions pas perdre une matinée à tout changer.

There was a leak from the ceiling after a long day of rain. The hotel manager was prompt in her response and swiftly upgraded me to a better room. So the issue was handled professionally overall, though it was a shame that there was a leak in the first place.
