Great hotel in Edinburgh’s best location
Pros:

The location is excellent! The views are gorgeous, I couldn’t stop looking out of the window. Very nicely refurbished, new and fresh rooms. Great bathroom. Really big tv! Loads of tv channels. I would love to stay here again and again and again… The staff is very friendly and helpful. Comfy bed.

It’s was fine but not worth the extra from a Premier Inn.
Pros:

Its location was perfect. Rooms were a good size and staff were excellent.

Cons:

Pillows were cheap and lumpy. Bedding didn’t fit the bed. Shower drain was very slow. Looking like the ‘refurbishment’ was just a lick of paint and things still looked tired in the room.

A great hotel for short stays with amazing location
Pros:

Great location, helpful and kind staff, clean and modern rooms. I really appreciate how they care about your pre-arrival notes and personal needs before checking in and their communication before arrival is great. Also room service is very tasty! (recommend gnocchi with grilled chicken)

This was my second stay and I enjoy this hotel for short stays in Edinburgh. Their restaurant was in refurbishment so they were offering some pastries and drinks as complimentary breakfast so it was a nice touch.

Cons:

Small and narrow bathroom!! It is really small and you can't even sit on the toilet without squeezing in and closing the door.
There is no door in the shower so when you shower water covers all your bathroom floor sadly.
The room size is small so there is no work desk. (tho there was a small coffee table but it is a small coffee table which you need to lean over to be able to work)
AC kept turning itself off after some time so I woke up feeling cold few times at night.
Also they didn't have any dental kits. Staff were very helpful and they said they checked everywhere but a nice hotel that doesn't have any dental kit or amenities was a little bit unexpected.
Again I would definitely recommend for a few night short stays, location is great but if you are getting anxious in tight spaces, longer stays may be an issue for you.

Pros:

Quiet, clean and comfortable. Reasonably priced. The landscape painting fixed to the ceiling was quirky and unusual!

Cons:

The night time light from the adjacent construction scaffolding was more than the the room's curtains could manage - not the hotel's fault - but will be a more restful experience when the adjacent building is eventually finished.
