Pros:

Cental location. Good value for money. Friendly staff. Room very clean. Even though restaurant was closed due to a refurbishment, the hotel provided a continental breakfast to take to your room.

Cons:

I was in a room next to fire exit which was adjacent to construction works, which meant I heard building work in the morning.

Pros:

Very comfy room and bed. Lovely shower

Cons:

The hotel was under construction and there was a lot of banging and loud noises very early in the morning. I had wished to know that if there was construction going on as I would have preferred to stay somewhere else or be on a floor that was effected as we were on the top floor and had the ceiling shaking some days. Also not a fan of the giant painting on the wardrobe

Pros:

The location was fantastic; we opted for a room with a view and it was amazing - directly across from the Scot Monument. The staff were very friendly and attentive. The 'grab and go' breakfast while the restaurant is under renovation was also very comprehensive.

Cons:

It can be a little loud for rooms on the road side with the tram traffic, but no louder than what you would expect for a city room.
