I used to recommend this hotel to everyone, but now we will find a better place to stay.
Pros:

This hotel is close to the boardwalk and like that there is an option to bring our dogs. It is budget friendly.

Cons:

We have stayed at Hotel Solaris multiple times over the last 5 years. Unfortunately we will be looking elsewhere next time we visit. It feels more run down and they have stopped serving the little breakfast, which was a major selling point for me. The hot tubs were only 3/4 full of water and have seen better days. The beautiful fountain they have is no longer running. We were also unfortunately under the room that had people drinking and partying all hours of the night. This is the type of crowd it seems to attract now.

This was a very decent hotel and in a good location with parking.
Pros:

The room was clean and neat and had plenty of space for suitcases and bags to be out. The porch was nice to have also. The location was also good. The pool looked nice although we didn't stay long enough to try it. I would stay here again.

The room was not quite ready at check-in time.

Nice accommodations, little too much noice

There was a nice pool and jacuzzi, and the room was nice with a balcony. The pet charge for the night is also only $25, which is so much more reasonable than most hotels!

Cons:

The room walls are VERY thin! We could hear everything in rooms around us and above. There were people walking around ALL NIGHT above us which made it hard to sleep. There are A LOT of kids at this hotel! We have one but there were tons of kids running all over th hotel and in the pool with little supervision. We booked another night here from the hotel and the rate was almost $100 more for the night than on Booking.com! Very disappointing.

Not clean or safe for solo travelers. Man at the register asked for my first and last name and room number in front of others when buying water from the vending machine at night. Door could be easily broken into because door jam did not work. The tv stand area/room behind made weird noises at night. Roach in room that came on the nightstand. Crumbs on the floor and beside the bed. Sheets had stains, including a concerning red stain.

Surprised Excellence
Pros:

Hotel Solares was both Comfortable and Warm!!! The Staff was a breath of Fresh air. The accommodations were very comfortable!!! I Would Stay There again on the 1st Floor and recommend staying there!!! The Experience was Excellent!!!

I had a great stay at a great hotel in a great location for pets and people.
Pros:

Comfy beds, nice bathroom, liked the private outdoor patio and enjoyed the single serve coffee maker with coffee. Great towels and plenty of them.
