Great hotel with stunning views and super staff

Quiet, safe, clean and a lift!

Marvellous!
Pros:

My Spanish wife and I have just returned to grey, rainy London from a cold but sunny Florence, despite what the BBC weather app was telling us a week before going...a very pleasant surprise.

And an even greater delight was staying at this beautiful hotel.
Before you book your air bnb with no breakfast and a dribble of a shower in someone else's flat, treat yourselves and book Kraft Hotel instead.

I should point out that we booked in January out of season; so very reasonable price.

The best things about this hotel are the wonderful staff and amazing breakfast (the best I've ever had in Italy...and we go to Italy every year).
The sausages are particularly good and Viola will make you an egg however you like it and smile while doing it.

But one suggestion:
Proper napkins of cloth instead of horrible cheap tissues.
Is that important?
Yes it is for me...but I am 65

Special mention of Reception Manager Elisabeth; so professional, helpful and patient with my rusty Italian and also of course Roberto in the dining room making sure that breakfast runs like clockwork even when there was a power cut in the area.
What a lovely character he is; has seen a bit of life that's for sure.

The rooms are all all classy high-ceilinged with large comfortable beds and invigorating showers and the view of roof top Florence from the breakfast room is stunning.
There is also a really pleasant and comfortable sitting area to the left of reception.
And finally it's a 10/15 minute walk to the centre along the river; a great way to start the morning.
We loved this place and hope to come back one day.

Dalla terrazza del 5 piano cominciare la giornata con una ricca colazione e concluderla sorseggiando un drink con quella
Pros:

Posizione, parcheggio privato coperto, gentilezza, sorriso e disponibilità di tutto lo staff dalla ristorazione alla reception, stanza ampia con balconcino dedicato e un letto comodissimo .

Fantastisk sted i gåafstand til centrum.
Pros:

Beliggenheden var skøn, vi gik til alt vi skulle se og opleve i byen (13-20 min gang max.) og området var stille og roligt, uden larm og gener. Selve værelset med altan var dejligt og vi brugte lang tid på at sidde udenfor og nyde solen (og skyggen med markisen nede). Badeværelset var fantastisk. To håndvaske, perfekt brus og karbad. Det var så nemt at holde rent og masser af plads til vores sæber og makeup.

Cons:

Der var ikke noget vi ikke kunne lide. Poolen var ikke så stor, og når der var mange børn kunne det godt være lidt ulideligt at være der - MEN det handler nok mere om børnene end om stedet. Selve faciliteterne var skønne og hvis man gik ned i restauranten var der ingen larm at høre.
