Pros:

I have lived in Mexico City for over ten years and have travelled a lot and I can honestly say that Casa Adela is one of the most beautiful places I have stayed in this country. It is set within the cactus strewn plains and low hills of Guanajuato and its view and layout is perfectly tranquil and inspiring. The rooms are breathtaking, the courtyard is exquisite, the roof terrace is unforgettable and the pool is perfect. I took my parents there and we were taken care of so well by Eric, Alejandro, Maria and Norma, who together create the perfect atmosphere for a peaceful and care free stay. If you don't want the hustle, bustle and noise of San Miguel de Allende - I often do not - but wish to be close by to enjoy its gardens, restaurants and architecture by day or evening visits, then this place is perfect, absolutely completely and utterly perfect. I feel that I am being very generous writing this review, not because it is not entirely accurate but because for selfish and mean reasons I would rather that nobody else ever stayed at Casa Adela, but that would be wronging the place itself and the humans that may potentially enjoy it, so, I await my rewards in good karma. Go ahead world, I am ready.
