The lobby was nice and scenic. Breakfast was good.
The pics online look more updated than the rooms actually are. My room was dirty, lights were flickering…spiders on the ceiling. Lastly, the water in the building was shut off by the city and they didn’t inform guests until after it happened. However, they claimed they thought notices were delivered prior to it being shut off.
My son booked this hotel for his wedding. He blocked out a ton of rooms for all out of town guests. He negotiated a rate and guests were able to book additional days after and before the wedding at the same rate. However, the hotel kept screwing up and not giving the negotiated rate. I was one of the first ones to call, being the grooms mom, and they could not get it right. They wanted to charge me $700 and I had to book through booking.com to get the better rate!! Corp Marriot called OKC location only to be told that those rates weren't available so I booked through booking.com to save money. It was a huge ordeal just to book rooms and get the correct rates. I am hoping booking.com can help me get my money back like the other guests were able to do.
The first night we checked in late and the sheets smelled dirty to me. Like someone had been in the bed before me. I chalked it up to me being tired and there was no way that was possible. However, the next day we wake up and my husband shows me there was makeup all over the sheets on his side!!! I don't sleep in makeup so it was clearly from previous guest. I went down to front desk only to be told no manager on duty at all on weekends and they couldn't help. We waited over 1 hour for someone and no one came. The iron didn't work either so we sat there until finally I saw the maid cart coming and tried to talk with her but she didn't understand English. They finally came and changed the sheets and the room still wasn't cleaned to Marriot standards. We woke up Sunday, (the day of the wedding) and there was a water main break so no water for showers to get ready for the wedding. Then on Monday morning there was NO HOT WATER for showers. Everyone who booked for the wedding and all other guests were getting comped rooms. I was told they could not comp me because I booked through a third party. I told them the only reason I booked through a third party was because the incompetent staff couldn't get the rates applied correctly. It was literally the worst hotel stay we've ever experienced. Marriot is supposed to be top notch. Motel 6 would have been better I'd bet. OH, and the breakfast was always half empty for food and the one guy working never even filled up the trays. Multiple people were upset.
We stayed two nights. Apparently we were supposed to ASK to get the room cleaned after the first night (including getting new towels). There was a water main break by the hotel (not their fault) but there was still no hot water at 8:00 a.m. (their fault). I took my first cold shower since I left the service. The worst, though, was their so-called complimentary breakfast. We came down an hour before it was to close and there was NO food except for some taco mush that did not look appetizing. More than half the tables were occupied by very hungry and very angry guests. I was left with a cup of lukewarm coffee from the sole staffer and a store-bought yogurt cup. I have stayed at the Waterford before without incident but it appears to have changed hands. I think I'll look elsewhere when visiting my hometown.

Continuo ed insopportabile rumore del motore dell'aria condizionata, anche quando la spengevo. Ho più volte sollecitato lo staff, che mi ha sempre risposto che si trattava di un rumore normale. Passo oltre 100 notti all'anno in USA, e questo non mi era mai capitato. Ho dormito malissimo, ed essendo la per lavoro questo è stato un grave problema. Inoltre, c'è stata una interruzione di acqua che non mi ha permesso di farmi una doccia prima di una cena di lavoro. Non era colpa della struttura, ma almeno potevano avvisarmi via email o sms

Had a relaxing and pleasant experience for the weekend. Jackie G in the restaurant/bar area was amazing!! Jackie was friendly and very attentive. We also enjoyed Deavontay! He always had a smile and made sure we had all we needed! Thank you Jackie and Deavontay! We will be back!
