Renaissance Waterford Oklahoma City Hotel

The breakfast was probably the best part.

Had a relaxing and pleasant experience for the weekend. Jackie G in the restaurant/bar area was amazing!! Jackie was friendly and very attentive. We also enjoyed Deavontay! He always had a smile and made sure we had all we needed! Thank you Jackie and Deavontay! We will be back!

Received a email on the day we were arriving , a manager that worked the evening shift , indicated he was to set my Marriott Bonvey account .. I never heard back to him. Perhaps someone from the front office could assist. Christine

Great location near eateries and local mall for shopping. Family friendly and great location for couples as well

I accompanied my husband for his company’s holiday party in OKC and this was the hotel reservation we were given. My husband has stayed here a few times before and usually has had some issues. This time was the worse. Front doors weren’t working. I had to pry them open to get in. We got to our room and I found food crumbs on the sofa. In the bathroom we found a shampoo bottle ring on the tub which lead me to believe the tub didn’t get cleaned properly. The ice machine was out on our floor which my husband said has been that way for months.
My husband has only ever stayed here because of a company event where the lodging was booked for him.
After this stay, he plans to ask for better lodging as this hotel has gotten worse at each visit.

Clean room although very outdated. Room did not look as pictured but beds were comfortable. Tub/shower not like in pictures. Ceiling tiles coming off in closet. Coffee bar area in room did not have sugar/cream just Equal and Sweet blow. Walls very thin, heard someone next door vomiting throughout the night. Overall expected more of the room for $195/night.

Breakfast was an outstanding selection but lacking in the area of warmth. Potatoes, eggs, bacon.. all cold. Delicious otherwise!

We had asked for bathrobes for our room well in advance. The front desk assured us that “each room comes with bathrobes for each person staying.” Unfortunately when we got to our room that evening and was about to get in the shower we noticed no robes were present. We called down to the from desk and they informed us that there were none available. We were disappointed in our wet towels afterwards.

Lastly, we had trouble locating an ice machine. Our floor’s wasn’t working. Went down a floor and they had none. Tried one last floor and the light was off in the ice room.. that machine wasn’t working apparently either. Myself and another guest had the same issue as we encountered each other in the elevator with empty ice buckets and we joked as we made our way to the bar. Thankfully neither one of us had gotten comfortable for the evening yet so we were dressed well enough to get a bucket of ice from the bar.

All and all— good stay. Just lacked the wow factors like we had hoped for as we had long wanted to stay at the Waterford as Oklahoma residents and this was a staycation of sorts.

Money spent now— but we had a good sleep.

I’ll give my “credentials” as many do on here - I am Platinum with Marriott. 50+ nights a year. Additionally I stayed at this hotel often in his heyday in the 90’s

And NO it isn’t like it was then … if it were, you’d be paying 2.5 times as much per night.

For the price, you CANNOT beat the Waterford!
Wonderful service … love the quiet neighborhood but still close to everything. Food in the restaurant was great. Comfortable beds.

I’m in a new job where I will be in OKC about once a month … and no question that the Renaissance Waterford will be my choice every time

I thought u was reserving the downtown location. The rooms were below par and the wall paper was peeling.

It was great, room was clean, but I couldn’t get the tv remote to work in the living room of the suite. I addressed it with the front desk and they took care of it. Great staff
