Professional staff, property was very clean and welcoming
Nothing
The breakfast choices, the staff. Everything was enjoyable and they were always upbeat and chipper when seeing them. Some southern hospitality if I would say . Kindness goes a long way and even a simple smile can make someone’s day.
N/a - possibly having a do not disturb hanger to place on doors.
We stayed at this property twice during our trip to FL - once on the way down, and again on our return trip north. Two totally different experiences, and we will not be returning. The hotel was undergoing major renovations, which were explained to us at the time of our reservation, and posed very minor inconveniences. During our first visit, we were greeted by Khianta, who could not have been more charming, welcoming, or helpful. In fact, she was one of the reasons we chose this hotel upon our return trip. Prior to our second stay, we used the app to select a King Bed room, for which we received confirmation. Upon arrival, the gentleman at the front desk informed us that he had sold all of the King rooms, so we were given a room with 2 queens. No big deal ..... until we entered the room to find it infested with ladybugs! After taking photos and killing as many as we could see, we contacted the front desk, and were offered 200 Hilton Points for our trouble. This was not acceptable to us, and we asked for a discount on our room. We were told that since we already received the discounted senior rate of 10% off, we would need to speak to the manager for any additional discounts. We were assured that she would call us first thing Monday morning. An entire week has now passed, and we have made numerous calls to the hotel asking to speak with the manager, Delrenia Bodrick. Not surprising, none of our calls have been given the courtesy or respect of a call back. We have since spoken with Hilton Customer Service and resolved this issue. Additionally, the hotel changed names between our visits, and is now a Spark hotel. The signage changed, but no one bothered to mention it, which made locating the hotel a challenge! I only share this long story because travelers know they have many choices when seeking lodging. Think twice about before supporting this property, as the management clearly does not value or respect their patrons.
Hotel is transitioning into a Spark from Hampton Inn. Was not informed of this when reserved room. Arrived to find in midst of remodel. Room was complete & clean, although spartanly furnished. Shower in bathroom was smaller than I have experienced on cruise ships! Too small to turn around! Felt I was lied to in booking as Hampton Inn brand!very disappointing from Hilton.
Staff
Renovations
Very noisy with people in hallways, very limited options for breakfast. Staff not as friendly as other locations.
Nothing didn't stay. Left within a hour. Won't be back.
There was bed bugs in out room. We walked in our room and immediately left.
The front desk person was very helpful. I use a cane and she gave us an accessible room with a walk in shower.
We enjoyed our stay and would recommend this property. It was inviting and clean. The staff was helpful and kind. Shout out to Leishell,UK and Jacqueline. This will be our go to when we travel through Atlanta every year.
The property was convenient to Shopping and restaurants
No one told us that the hotel was currently under construction. We were awakened by power tools. also, the bed was hard as a rock. I know some people like firm beds, but wow, and the pillows are paper thin. Didn’t get much sleep and I almost slipped and fell stepping out of the shower. The floor was unusually slippery so be careful.
Elevator was out. Called and requested a 1st floor room. Instead we got put on 3rd floor. I have two bad knees and it was all I could do to walk up the stairs. Let along carry luggage
Checked in to find out they are renovating and have no elevator until Jan 1. Had to lug all my stuff to the 2nd floor. Not expecting that
Room was clean and staff was so nice and I would like to visit again
Spotless, and excellent staff. We were warmly and very professionally greeted by the gentleman on the front desk last night. Very kind… inquired about our drive, offered water and snacks, etc. Definitely a model on how to create a first impression and be the public-facing person. Nice room.
