I liked my stay.

This was a great hotel. They allowed you to choose the frequency of room cleaning which was nice! Would have liked a recycle container in the room. Only a coffee pod machine in the room, which isn't ideal for tea (and leaks when you use it for tea), so a kettle would be preferred for this tea drinker. Otherwise the room was modern, clean and comfortable! Enjoyed our stay! Staff was excellent and helpful with any inquiry we had!

The hotel is about to close, weather for renovation or for good is not clear, but this is something they forgot to advertise online. Nevertheless, hotel was decent, but more of an Ibis level than a Novotel, although priced as a Novotel.

Staff was quite difficult and seemed clueless about how to manage simple tasks such as charging us for some extras from a fridge in the lobby.

I am not sure what happened, but this was not the experienced I wanted from a Novotel.

I recently wrote that the pool was only open between 7:00 PM & 9:00 PM. This is incorrect (there was an error on their bulletin board). The pool is open starting at 7:00 AM.

Loved our stay. Very quiet hotel area. Check in was seamless, rooms are good with comfortable beds, coffee machine along with tea kettle & tea. Loved the breakfast as it had a great variety. Very close to central area & very accessible with car or by foot. Lots of underground parking

Nice hotel at the top of the hill steep climb back or stairs,taxi from town 15euro. PutTrajanstrasse inthe satnav for the car park, or you will miss it in the one way,go down to the second level, you will see the signs for the lift

The staff is very helpful, the manager is very professional and acomodating.i would recommend this place to everyone.

Older hotel in okay condition very in need of updating. Parts of the spa are out of order (cold plunge) and the entire pool and spa area is often pretty smelly. That being said, the sauna is huge and wonderful!

We had a great stay with such friendly and helpful people. They went out of their way to make sure that our room was ready early, which was so kind. We needed it early to make it to a wedding. Very professional and nice. It's within walking distance from the train station and downtown. We loved their pool/sauna area. Our only mild complaint was that the pool is quite small and the hot tub was not working. We would still highly recommend Novotel!

nice clean large rooms, comfortable beds; good location in walkable distance to the train station and town center; beautiful and spacious spa area; the kids loved hanging out in the pool.

We’ve stayed here many times over 10 years. Some of the furnishings are looking a bit worn, but all is clean. Bathroom is very clean. Linens and bedding are fresh. Breakfast buffet remains high quality. Staff informative and helpful.

Arrival~ lack of customer service until I initiated it. Room very average and stained carpet- Housekeeping exceptional to bring missing items to room. There are much nicer hotels in Mainz that we have stayed at.

Better / brighter lighting option in room and somewhere easier and more convenient to plug in the kettle would be good.
