Fantastic location and we felt really safe throughout our stay. The staff were absolutely wonderful and couldn’t do enough for us, especially when our cases went missing at the airport. They were so helpful and reassuring during what could have been a stressful start to our trip. They also went above and beyond to help us celebrate our honeymoon, surprising us with a lovely fruit platter and a bottle. Such thoughtful touches made our stay extra special. We couldn’t have asked for a better welcome and would happily recommend staying here!
The only downside was the layout of our room. The kitchen area was directly outside the bedroom with no door separating the two spaces, so any noise carried straight through. The fridge would reboot every couple of hours, making a REALLY loud noise, followed by two or three loud cracking/banging sounds once it had finished. As we’re light sleepers and were already adjusting to the time difference and jet lag, this woke us up on several occasions throughout the night. It was a shame, as everything else about our stay was fantastic, but a quieter fridge or better separation between the kitchen and bedroom would have made a big difference to our sleep.
Our experience at Montrose at Beverly Hills was a strange mix of wonderful hospitality and a very disappointing sleeping experience.
First, the positives truly deserve recognition.
The staff were absolutely lovely, incredibly friendly, welcoming, and attentive throughout our stay. They even surprised us with a room upgrade, which we genuinely appreciated.
And what a room it was!
Without a doubt, it was the most impressive room we stayed in during our entire honeymoon. Exceptionally spacious, comfortable, and beautifully designed. We absolutely loved it.
The hotel’s location is also excellent, making it a convenient base for exploring Los Angeles. The covered parking was another positive aspect of our stay.
In terms of the room itself, the location, and especially the kindness of the staff, we really couldn’t have asked for more.
Unfortunately, there was one major issue that completely overshadowed the experience: the terrible soundproofing between floors.
For three consecutive nights, we struggled to get a proper night’s sleep.
We could hear practically every footstep, creak, and movement coming from the room above us. The noise traveled through the ceiling so clearly that even ordinary movement upstairs became extremely disturbing.
It wasn’t an occasional inconvenience. It was a constant issue that made our nights genuinely exhausting.
Three nights in a beautiful hotel room, yet three nights without proper sleep.
And that’s what makes this experience so frustrating. We genuinely loved the hotel in almost every other aspect. The staff were wonderful, the room was exceptional, and the location was great.
But at the end of the day, the most fundamental thing a hotel should provide is a peaceful night’s sleep.
Unfortunately, Montrose failed to deliver that during our stay.
We sincerely hope the hotel addresses this issue, because with proper soundproofing, it could have been one of our favorite hotels of the entire trip.
Its location, the spaciousness of its rooms, the view from its roof and the courtesy of the hotel staff.

One lady at the front desk wasn’t friendly, outdated property, everything costs expensive , parking, breakfast, no place to fill water, cleaning happens only if asked

The fitness center could be more developed
Fantastically quiet location yet near enough places to head for the evening. Great view of Downtown LA from our 5th floor room. Staff were great and very helpful.
Nothing of any note. $75 was a bit steep for the overnight parking but they were willing to negotiate a cheaper rate.
