Pros:

Lindo rooftop para café da manhã. Chuveiro ótimo, camas confortáveis. Aquecimento do quarto excelente. Localização excelente! Black out das cortinas maravilhoso.

Cons:

Não havia cardápio ou QR CODE para pedir serviço de quarto e faltou orientações no quarto sobre os ramais dos serviços do hotel. A decoração do quarto é muito antiga e precisa de uma reforma nos móveis.

Lovely hotel and staff
Pros:

Location was so convenient, staff was also very friendly. A lovely lady at the receptionist gave me a free upgrade and I stayed in room 421, the view was amazing!

Very disappointing

The location of the hotel is very convenient with good access to public transport and nearby attractions.

However, my experience with the room was very disappointing. When opening the toilet door there was a very strong urine smell, which made the space unpleasant to use. For a 4-star hotel, this was quite surprising.
I stayed at the hotel for six nights and only requested housekeeping once during my stay. Unfortunately, after the room was serviced it appeared that the bed sheets had not been changed and the glasses in the room had not been replaced.
When I first reported the smell, I even asked if they could leave a spray in the bathroom to help with the odor. I was told they would take care of it, but later I was informed that they only spray the bathroom themselves and do not leave a spray in the room.
After I spoke with the general manager (Gianluca), he kindly arranged for the room to be cleaned again. The glasses and the bed sheets were replaced, which I appreciated. However, the strong odor in the toilet unfortunately remained.
The manager offered a room change or a complimentary aperitivo, but by that time I only had one night remaining in my stay, so moving rooms and packing my luggage again did not make much sense. I therefore requested a partial refund instead.
Unfortunately, I have not received any response regarding this request, and the hotel also did not respond to the inquiry from Booking.com.

It is an old hotel but with al basic facilities , not so easy to walk to landmarks

I expected the hotel to be closer to landmarks , closest one was 20 min walk but including hills , ups and downs which is not so pleasent , at least it was in a piazza where you could find a couble of places to eat and drink

The rooftop is a great feature for this hotel.
The view you can enjoy at breakfast time or for a drink in the evening is beautiful.
