Poor value and an even worse breakfast
Pros:

- The room was recently renovated.
- Room looked out onto a golf course, so nice and peaceful.

Cons:

- Breakfast was a total mess. We arrived 45 minutes before it closed to find it decimated. There were no bagels, yoghurts, sausages, coffee, spoons. The coffee was abysmal and the food options were limited and tasted cheap. Staff didn’t seem to have any idea that there was no food until guests pointed it out to them.
- Some guests were in their pyjamas at breakfast which indicates the sort of hotel this is.
- Whilst the rooms have been renovated, the bathrooms have not and they need attention.
- No air conditioning.
- The fridge had been left open so when we tried to store baby food in it, it was not cold.
- Very expensive for the service, standard and comfort received.

Really classy place to stay. We loved the deluxe king room, the hot tub, outdoor seating area with golfcourse view, and bikes to borrow. The staff was warm and thoughtful.

Good Hotel for a Pet Stay
Pros:

We found this more on the budget side of lodging in the area, but it worked for us because we needed to bring our dog and they were very pet friendly. Beautiful exterior but room itself is pretty basic. The pool, sauna and hot tub are fantastic and worth the stay. The breakfast was pretty mediocre. We didn't go back for anything after the first day. They have some games in the common room that was a nice to do as a family one night. The walk to the beach and actual trails aren't from the hotel. You have to walk along the highway, then down another long road. Its fairly far and parking is limited once you get there if you try to drive. We ended up getting lunch at the Ritz and had an Uber take us back for $5? Totally worth it as the weather was really cold and windy that day. If on the first floor, you can hear the people above. There were kids running and jumping all night. We ended up banging in the ceiling and they calmed down.

Great place to stay - week days rates are great here!!
Pros:

Room was big and had 2 rooms, one with King Bed and other with sofa. Tvs in both rooms. Patio was great place to hang for sun down views. Pool and Hot Tub were available great views at sunset. Breakfast was very good and had plenty of choices. Robes in rooms nice touch. DOG friendly, lots of walking places and she loved it too!

Cons:

Bathroom was in front room and made for a long trip at night from bedroom. NO eating utensils in room other than coffee cups. One remote for both tvs made it hard to watch both at same time. Long walk to Breakfast and Pool area, suggest DRIVE Down.
