We stayed for 3 nights and every time we had interactions with valet they were amazing and super helpful with ideas of what we should do. Jerrod specifically went out of his way to accommodate us when we needed to switch out our vehicle. Jerrod gave us amazing advice on 2 different places to go for the day that was tailored to the experience we were looking for. Thanks Jerrod!! Hotel space was clean - new. No bad comments!!
We travelled to Tampa to celebrate Mother's Day weekend and our daughter's birthday. The Current Hotel Autograph Collection caught our eye online and with all the amenities it showed--we booked it for the weekend. The room was comfortable and the view was spectacular. Unfortunately, there were two major events going on at the hotel, so it was difficult to arrange some time with the restaurants on site. We did manage a table at Julian Restaurant. The food was delicious and our server, Jovanka was incredible. For the record, we returned on Sunday for breakfast and food still great and our server, Cole was outstanding. I also have to give a special shout out to Rafael and Abel at the Julian Lounge & Bar--they both were super! On Sunday we made reservations for Casa Cami--it was a late reservation because they were booked. The food was good--margaritas on point!! The only negative experience was on Sunday (Mother's Day), we went to the furthest deck and wanted to hang out there. We asked if service was available there and they told us yes. No one ever came out to check if we needed anything to drink or eat. There was a menu-type item with information of food and drink and a QR Code for scanning. We tried numerous times, but it did not work. We ended up walking back and forth ordering our food and drinks and carrying them back and forth to the deck. Overall, the hotel is not a bad spot to stay. The photos do mislead you--especially the pool area. It was very small and not enough chairs/lounges. And the location by the restaurant where everyone is watching you is a little odd. Finally, be prepared to valet park because the self-parking is always full.
Hotel was new, clean inside and out; rooms were comfortable and very clean. Brew House for Coffee in the early morning was a wonderful experience, as was the onsite Bar and Restaurant. Staff was helpful and friendly.
Outside entrance to the hotel and Valet Parking was always congested and created delays getting in and out of the Hotel. The Valet staff worked very hard to reduce any delay and move the traffic quickly, unfortunately the design of the entrance itself was creating the bottle neck. - I would suggest planning extra time when looking to meet your Uber or receive your car from Valet Parking.
Lovely newly furbished hotel, in a good location - nice and quiet. Great views of the bay. Staff friendly. Only downside was the food unfortunately, the Mexican not great and breakfast greasy and no orange juice ?? We are in Florida?
The restaurants were great, staff was friendly.
Only disappointed there was no water access on the beach
I loved the location , the scenery, and all of the amenities that were available at the hotel .
Jarrod did a great job deesculating a crazy situation yesterday. The valet could not locate my keys for my vehicle. They looked everywhere.... Jarrod was awesome and called me an Uber to take me home and in the mean time, was calling to get a key fob made. On my way home, i found the car keys sitting in the bottom of my purse. Called Jarrod to let him know so he didn't move forward ordering the key fob. I have to say he was amazing in handling the situation the right away. Customer service skills are 5 stars!! He remained calm, extremely professional and handled the whole situation extremely well.
The views were great. The bed was comfortable.
The staff isn’t that nice there not friendly did not make it very enjoyable. We would never stay there again very snooty/rude. Terrible location. The ramps that go up to the hotel are horrible if you have a big SUV or truck good luck to you. You can’t get in the hotel from the parking garage. Terrible set up.
Excellent staff, our needs were taken care of with exceptional service! Beautiful location with amazing views! Great bar and food options!
Nothing
"Current" hotel in Tampa is very clean everywhere like in their main hall, restaurant, elevators, inside room, and back side decking, swimming pool, etc areas. This hotel also has gorgeous view to see Tampa International Airport and Tampa Bay. Especially, I would want to appreciate Jerrod (the Valet parking manager) who volunteered to help me switch my flat tire with spare tire when their team has already noticed my car had a complete flat tire in early morning (with a big nail on tire). His kindly help saved me lots of time and effort than for me to do it by myself alone or by calling AAA etc. Thanks Jerrod so much for your kindness and help!

Quiet
Location, parking, some staff not helpful, swimming pool too small, no entertainment
I fell in love with this Boutique Hotel the amenities are amazing the rooms with the view of the ocean is not something you can get at many places. I booked the deluxe room for the first couple nights and then I had a suite for my last couple nights there my favorite room was the suite ! The only thing that I didn't like was how big the shower was in the deluxe room and the shower head was really small so you had a lot of space in there with no water so it was like kind of cold.
The suite had the perfect size shower because it didn't have all that extra space like the deluxe but the bathroom felt a little bit smaller. I fell in love with the coffee bar and breakfast from Julian's. I Was on the 10th floor but didn't get to try the food but was able to have drinks there at Casa Cami but plan on definitely going back to try in the future but the atmosphere and view was amazing.
All the staff that I encountered was helpful the manager made sure I had the best room for the occasion and night staff went out of her way to find me Ranch💜 I look forward to going back again.
While the property is visually stunning and the team is very hospitable, our stay was ruined by the noise levels in Room 816. This "upgraded" room sits directly under the gym, which stayed open and active throughout the night. We were woken up at 3:30 AM by heavy equipment and weights.
The most frustrating part was learning from the front desk that this is a known, recurring issue with this specific room. It is unfair to charge guests—or "upgrade" them—into a room where sleep is impossible. I hope management takes this room out of rotation or implements gym hours to protect their guests' rest.
The view of bay.
Everything was great.
