We had a number of problems that mean we wouldn't go back or recommend. It was very expensive, and the hotel had a huge surplus (£40 for a £4 taxi) this felt like a tourist tax, there was sand in the beds, two of us got sick, we had broken air con, there were stray dogs on the property
This is a stylish boutique hotel with a dedication to excellent and caring service (by Executive Chef Creighton, by Biju and other staff members). The decor is sophisticated, the rooms very comfortable and well-appointed. The Postcard Velha is set on a forested hill - thus, it is very quiet and peaceful and yet not far from the sights of Old Goa (around 800 meters). Meals in the open pavilions were a delight. The atmosphere is unhurried, personal and relaxing.

This is a brilliant hotel ; staff were great and so chilled
Amazing concept with an attention to all details, staff always available and extremely kind and efficient. One big highlight is about the kitchen. The Chef and his team are creating fabulous meals, tasty, original, fresh. A BIG BRAVO to them. All together, an unforgettable experience.
Could have more options for the excursions proposed, menu is a bit thin for Goa state which has so much to offer
What’s not to like - the staff are exceptional, the food is good and the property itself is just straight out of a movie!
It’s so green and picturesque with this 250-year old banyan tree right at the heart of it and the pristine white estate style architecture just transports you to a world of serenity and calm!
Baiju and the whole team at the Velha were outstanding and once you’ve stayed at any of the Postcard hotels, you’ve been spoilt for life :)
