Americas Best Inn and Suites Fort Lauderdale North

The Staff was GREAT! The room was clean. The bed was not comfortable at all. The bed pillows were FLAT. So flat they looked like a sheet. I thought they were a little sheet at first glance. The air wasn’t central. It was a portable unit AC inside which didn’t cool the room at all. Overall a terrible place to stay.

This place is horrible!!! A/c doesn’t work, tubs don’t drain, bed bugs or something, crack heads, prostitutes, pimps, etc!!!! Worse place I’ve ever experienced!!!

The door would not lock. The bathroom door would not close. Cigarette burns on the comforters and the sheets had very obviously not been changed. I refused to stay here but was not given a refund. The area is very unsafe. People doing drugs outside and half naked women walking around. In the 10 minutes I was here someone tried breaking into my vehicle. On top of all this it’s very over priced.

After almost 3 hrs, the air didn’t cool. There was a cockroach on the shower and one above the bed. Disgusting.

Though the businesses around this motel are upscale, this hotel is the worst place I have ever spent a night. Druggies were in the parking lot all evening and even at 4 am when we left for the airport. We barricaded ourselves into the room, and the one amenity in the room was a bar if soap. The bedspread was from the 1960’s and had multiple burn holes. The sheets were clean, but all I could think about was bed bugs, druggies, and lewd behaviors outside my door. Do not stay at this place!

We saw a cockroach within 2 min of entering the room, the mattresses were stained, the TV was melted. I could go on and on but I'm trying to put it out of my mind. Horrible experience!!

do Not stay at this filthy place. It is more like a flop house with local residents living in these dilapidated rooms that have no security locks because they have been ripped off the door! A rusted air conditional that sounds like an army tank firing rapid bullets

Filthy with roaches. Unsafe, dangerous! Rude manager and rude front desk staff. DO NOT STAY HERE!

Horrible experience please don’t book here unless you have no other choice. For the 2 nights I stayed there was constant police coming in and out arresting people that rented there as well. Truly the place was ratchet as the saying goes.

Desperately needs upgrades.

Not a good place if you need good wifi. A good bare minimum place if you absolutely need a place to crash for the night with 4 walls, a bed, and bathroom

The room I booked is non-smoking, but the room still smells of cigarette smoke.

No lights. Needed bulbs on arrival.Smelly. Staff member said not to venture outside of room and to keep doors locked at all times.
TV has maybe 10 channels altogether, all not worth watching. Disappointed for the price i paid. No food or swim pool.

It's very run down and desperately needs updating.
