Great location. Elegant facilities. Food is overpriced and especially breakfast items need an upgrade. Service is generally very good. The Pink Bar is cool. Lovely roof top pool, bars and coffee shop.

What a truly wonderful experience. The hotel is elegant with a very friendly staff. The location is perfect as it is in the heart of Charleston. We were able to walk everywhere we wanted to go. The beds are super comfortable and the room decor is tasteful, classy, and timeless. I would love to stay here again.

What a lovely experience the Hotel Bennett was. My wife and I came for our anniversary, and we were truly grateful for our decision to come here. The price of the rooms very much reflects the level of service and care you receive while you are here. We got the basic king sized room, but the space was more than enough for us, and the room itself was gorgeous. The staff here were some of the most friendly and attentive staff I have had the pleasure of meeting. Our rooms were cleaned and serviced 2-3 times a day, depending on whether we were in the room still. They leave little dark chocolates on the pillows for the evening, and it’s such a lovely little touch. The bathtub was quite large, enough for both me and my wife to very comfortably bathe in together. The shower was quite spacious as well. The hotel itself was immaculate, so very clean and smelled wonderful throughout (a common issue we’ve had with many hotels we’ve stayed at). The lobby itself was very welcoming, and so very beautiful. We were so caught up in the beauty and comfort, we forgot to take more pictures of it all.
Also, talk to the concierges here if this is your first visit to Charleston, especially Kevin. There people know everything you could want about this city. Kevin managed to get us into Halls Chophouse down the road that I had been trying to get a reservation for over a month with a night notice. They are very skilled at what they do, and will help make your trip even more memorable.
My wife and I will definitely be back here again in future visits, and would recommend anyone wanting a beautifully comfortable stay to choose the Hotel Bennett.

I had an absolutely incredible experience at Fiat Lux. The staff, especially Heather, were phenomenal and made us feel so welcome. The service was impeccable, and the drinks were outstanding. On top of that, the tomato soup was hands down the best I’ve ever had. This place is truly top-notch and an absolute must-visit.

Stayed here with my family and the whole hotel was decked out for the holidays—it felt super festive. Service was excellent! We booked through Amex FHR, and the perks were definitely worth it. We ate at Gabrielle’s for both breakfast and dinner, and everything was delicious.

The only hiccup was a minibar mix-up, they accidentally charged us for items from a previous guest (about $250). Once we brought it up, management fixed it right away.

If you’re looking for a luxury stay in Charleston, this place is definitely worth considering!

From the moment we arrived , Kevin transformed our first mother-daughter getaway into an absolutely exceptional experience!
Kevin didn’t just offer recommendations he curated a couple of experiences we would have never heard about or done on our own!
A private boat tour to one of the oldest lighthouses in the country!! A captain whose heritage is embedded in the waters we were riding on!! He shared personal stories of the history of his family and the area. We saw dolphins, oyster and clam beds, and were able to collect beautiful shells on the island surrounding the lighthouse.
On the second night, Kevin took his hospitality and knowledge a step further, by taking us on a night walking tour through the most prestigious streets and alleys of Charleston. He pointed out beautiful homes, gardens, and fountains while talking about the history and charm of what makes Charleston so unique! During the tour Kevin also acted as our personal photographer by knowing exactly when to stop. Where to stand,
what angle and lighting to use to capture the perfect photo opportunity.
These pictures will provide us such special and lasting memories of our first mother-daughter trip!
What stood out most was Kevin’s warmth and enthusiasm! He matched our energy with every interaction, and left us feeling looked after and appreciated.
Concierge’s often are overlooked and not fully utilized, it’s rare to find someone who takes such pride in their role and makes such a meaningful impact on a trip.
Because of Kevin, our mother-daughter trip was not only enjoyable , it was memorable in a way we’ll talk about for years!! This trip definitely set the bar for future trips! We can’t recommend Kevin and his services with Hotel Bennett highly enough!

We went to the Lobby Bar and the 3 young women bartenders were rude. I ended up with a knat in my wine and they asked me if I wanted a straw to get the knat out??? I asked to get a fresh glass of wine and she nastily dump my wine out and in the same glass poured me a glass of wine ( not the wine I had ordered ) and barely poured me a regular glass amount. And was nasty about it. I just smiled and didn’t say anything … but I will never come back to that bar and I’ve told a bunch of people how rude these 3 young ladies were.

We really enjoyed this hotel. It has become our charleston favorite. Excellent dining options. Love the roof top bar. Views are incredible. King Club was well worth the cost. Staff is very friendly and attentive.

Beautiful! We loved it!

I paid for a deluxe room with a balcony, thinking it was the best way to experience the hotel through an expansive view of the city. They stuck me on the third floor, with a balcony backed up to a concrete wall, and two sides of the building itself flanking the balcony. Zero views of anything. I mean, zero. The room was an insult. It should not be offered to visitors.

Food: Really quite terrible. Mediocrity dressed up in southern finery.

That said, the staff was exceptionally well trained. Kind. Helpful. Knowledgeable. The location is great.

I doubt I would stay a second time

The Hotel Bennett was exceptional in every area! The service was impeccable, the room was beautiful, the staff were exceptional. So many fun things to do and amazing restaurants within walking distance! We will return!
