In Myitkyina...
Pros:

A modern, clean hotel in Myitkyina. Right on the Main Street next to Irrawaddy River. Staff is friendly and very helpful. The buffet breakfast on top floor is ok and views of river and town are fantastic!
My second stay here and I highly recommend.
