We love staying at the Grand Hyatt Denver when catching a show at the Paramount! It's an easy walk to the the theater and the 16th Street Mall. The bar and service staff are always friendly and helpful.

Always a nice stay at one of the larger hotels in town. Can it use a little.tlc sure. Is staff wonderful yes.
Breakfast is buffet and good enough..coffee and juice included which is nice.
Rented a king room and the bed was sunken in on both side, the comforter was grey not white and the pillows smelled like smoke. I won’t be staying her in the future.
This was one of the very best hotel experiences I’ve ever had- everything was excellent! The staff, food, property condition, and amenities were all top notch- highly recommended.
The under nightstand and bathroom vanity lighting are auto sensored- much appreciated- you get up to go during the night without turning on overhead “interrogation” lighting!!
Additionally, this was walking distance to my rental car office so returning my vehicle was a breeze.

My stay was unfortunately impacted by poor housekeeping and lack of attention to detail. In our first room, the bathtub was in unacceptable condition—chipping porcelain and visibly unclean. We requested a room change, but the second room was only a slight improvement. The tubs in both rooms did not feel sanitary.
Although I only take showers, having to stand in a tub that appears unclean is extremely off-putting. I had to wear shower shoes and even purchase cleaning spray and Lysol from CVS to disinfect the shower before stepping it; something I have never had to do at comparable hotels like the Conrad, Wynn, or Bellagio.
Additionally, small but important details were overlooked. The clock in the room was 16 minutes ahead and the date was three days off, which further reflects a lack of proper room checks during turnover.
What’s most concerning is that this is not an isolated experience. I encountered similar cleanliness issues during a stay at a Hyatt in San Diego less than a year ago, suggesting a broader inconsistency in standards.
Overall, this experience did not meet expectations and highlights the need for improved housekeeping and quality control.
The valet team at the Grand Hyatt truly made our stay. Every time we arrived or left, they greeted us with a smile, remembered us, and had our car ready so quickly. It felt personable, not just transactional. Such a great first and last impression—thank you for the warm, thoughtful service! Tyler, Josh, Malek, Marcus, Brennan and Hammer!
Josh and Brennan from the Bellman/Valet team were so helpful, courteous and sincere. It truly made the experience at the Grand Hyatt so warm and welcoming. They represented the brand very well. I will back because of the friendly service.
What a great place to stay! The rooms were clean and comfortable, the fitness center was nice, and the location was great. What was especially great were the employees. I would like to mention two in particular.
Matt in valet. He was extremely attentive, engaging and always welcomed us with a smile.
Antonio in Corier. On our first night at the restaurant it was extremely busy. We ordered some food, which came out a bit later than expected. No big deal. The next night Antonio remembered us and bought us a glass of wine. It was very thoughtful and a testament to his excellent customer service.
I would stay here again and highly recommend this Hyatt.
The property was beautiful in a great location . I loved the atmosphere , the valet service and the fact the hotel was so willing to be accommodating . It was my husband’s birthday and they not only upgraded our room, they helped with an early check in since we arrived early. And provided him an amazing birthday gift .
Only coffee offered was in room . It be nice to have complimentary water and coffee in the lobby.
I liked the safety and security of the building, and the proximity to 16th St. Mall, restaurants, and the Paramount Theatre.
I didn’t like having to pay for parking when the parking garage was on the premises. I don’t think you should charge guests for parking.
Location
During the last two days of my stay, a significant portion of the hallway on my floor was sealed off with what appeared to be fire-retardant material, and some form of maintenance or cleaning work was carried out. Unfortunately, no prior notice or explanation was provided to guests.
This situation was particularly disturbing for several reasons:
1. The noise level was excessive, including during nighttime hours, which made rest difficult.
2. There was a very strong, unpleasant chemical smell (similar to insecticide or industrial cleaning substances) that spread into the rooms.
3. No measures were taken to relocate guests or minimize exposure, despite the impact on comfort and well-being.
The lack of communication and consideration for guests in this context is, frankly, unacceptable and falls short of the standards expected at this level of hospitality.
Additionally, I noticed several issues related to room maintenance and cleanliness:
• stained lamps
• visibly dirty carpets
These details further contributed to a disappointing experience, especially considering the price point, which does not reflect the quality delivered.
Finally, on the last day, despite placing a “Do Not Disturb” sign on the door, I received a notice stating that access to the room must be granted at least once every 24 hours. This is not something I have encountered in other hotels and felt intrusive.
Chris and Malek were so helpful in getting all of our things packed up! We will definitely come back to stay when in Denver because of the customer service.

Excellent stay in Denver. The hotel was very clean, room service, and housekeeping was excellent. Food and beverages served at the Conference were very well prepared. The front desk staff was also very good and accommodating
