Pros:

Stay at property was amazing! The views where breathtaking and awesome to unwind to after staying in the city. The staff was very friendly and provided excellent service. We stayed 2 nights and also visited the nearby waterfalls...

experience and food didn’t match price
Pros:

The best thing about this place is the view. Everything else feels like it was done in a hurry (bad sound proofing, no seals on doors so bugs everywhere, staff is kind but awkward). It was one of the pricier places we stayed in Sri Lanka and the value just didn’t match up. The food was also disappointing, we did not like the dinner at all (limited options and totally bland) and it costs about 4-5x more than eating food in town. I wouldn’t come back to this hotel unless it was half the cost.

Pros:

We stumbled over this wonderful resort by accident because our pre booked accommodation cancelled our booking.
But we couldn’t have been happier with our choice to book at the akway resort.

It’s a bit a ride from Haputale Railway station but for 1000 ruppies or less its easy doable.

We didn’t really know what to expect at first but the resort and staff are just wonderful. It’s really quiet and the view is just stunning.
The resort is pretty new and the rooms are very clean.

We just stayed for one night, because we already had bookings in Ella but if we could, we would have been there longer.

Breakfast (buffet) and dinner also were very tasty and plenty.
