Gone down hill
Pros:

We stayed at this hotel last year and enjoyed it so much we decided to book another week this year. What a mistake that was ! We booked bed and breakfast and on the day we arrived we were checking in and the lady on reception told us that they don’t do food anymore so we were told that we had to go down the road to another hotel to have our breakfast. As you can imagine we were very annoyed about this and asked to be moved to another hotel but she said no that isn’t possible. So for the whole week we stayed we had to get up and walk to the other hotel to have our breakfast. What annoys us is no one told us this would be happening before we arrived. It would have been polite for the company we booked through to have told us this. Also when we said to the lady on reception we are going to pop through to the bar to get a coffee before we go to our room she said the bar was shut and wouldn’t be open until Thursday so we had 2 days at the start of our holiday not even being able to get a cup of tea or coffee. It is disgusting. Then to top it all when the Thursday came and the bar opened it was shut by 10 o’clock every night. Sometimes 9.45 ! Since this hotel has been taken over by Algeria it has gone right down hill and we won’t be staying here again. Shame really cause it was such a lovely place before. This picture was taken at 21.50 and the bar is already shut down for the night

The room with no view
Pros:

Just got back from a four night stay five of us two rooms one for two people the other for three, I was given a room when we pulled the curtains back there was a wall basically 1 foot in front of you from the balcony the room was very dark and basic, we immediately went down to reception and asked to change rooms as there was no way we could possibly stay there the girl on reception was very nice she offered us an upgrade to a comfort room rather than basic at least we had some light and a view of the back road which was better than the wall, The hotel it’s very clean but it’s in need of a looked at the pool area is tired the highlight is the pool bar thanks to Martina Chatty and funny and she gave us some good restaurant advice if you’re just using the hotel as a base then do so just make sure you don’t get the wall

The worst hotel I have ever been
Pros:

This is the worst hotel I have ever lived in.
First room:
I was accommodated 10 meters underground. After leaving the balcony, a several-meter-long wall climbs right in front of my eyes. Even at noon, the room is semi-dark and damp.
Rude and deceptive service. At my request to change the room staff shrugged and invited the manager who did not come to the appointment. Moreover manager pretended that he was not at the hotel. And the crew said that they do not have a mobile phone!
Disgusting food. Dirty dishes and cutlery. The dishes smelled so bad that I would not give the dog to eat them. When I tasted a slice of fries and pizza, I instinctively spat that out. It cannot be called food. I warn everyone about this hotel.

strange place.
Pros:

While Loret is a lovely place this hotel is what it is, shabby and tired, if you want peace and quiet? This is not the hotel for you. Great location but nicer ones across the road. Food is below average, noise levels quite high, but i5 was very clean.

Ants, Poor Food...
Pros:

Ants in our room, crawling up furniture, the bathroom and our bed covers. We asked to change rooms and did, however it still was just not great. During this process and within the hour of moving rooms, I realised we forgot our plug converter. I asked if we could go back and check, but they wouldn't allow us to and magically it disappeared - then they charged us 5 Euros to rent one from them.
Overall a bit of a rubbish stay - It was not 3 stars by UK standards, so be warned. 3 stars must be the equivalent to 2 out there. The receptionist was passive aggressive, overall wouldn't recommend the place. Unfortunately we booked through a third party as part of a package, so no matter how much we pleaded, we couldn't swap hotels.

Tragic and depressing
Pros:

Lets just start with you get what you pay for (at a stretch). The hotel does have a couple of positives, it's clean and in a great location. However, that's about it. Where do we start with the rest?

The Food? The food is something else, there's only a small buffet with minimum choices that taste awful. Everyone eating looked depressed, knowing how bad the food tasted i could understand. Honestly, i still don't understand how food could be so bad, even the chips were bad (how is that possible?). My favourite was the meatballs, they tasted like the sausages you get in a tin with spaghetti, bland. On a couple of nights they ran out of cutlery, so had to make do with a two plastic spoons as a knife and fork.

The bar was small, and very short staffed. The had to get someone from the restaurant any time you needed a drink to run across to the bar, not ideal. The drinks were standard, and when its all inclusive you expect naff booze. There wasn't really any entertainment, 1 of the 5 nights we were their some old man decided to sing karaoke style. Also, the bar closes after 11pm, they shut every thing down. So don't expect a long night as it's officially bed time.

The first room we were given was a single, now with two people that was instantly a no go. They did swap the room straight away, with no harm done (Lets call that another positive). The room was really set up purely for sleeping, no extra features, no view out the window, no tea/coffee,

I know it was cheap, but you can get cheap and cheerful places. This was just cheap and depressing. I won't be staying again, or recommending to anyone.

Disappointed
Pros:

I no it's only a 3 star hotel and you get what you pay for but I paid for all inclusive and ate out every night because the food was horrible it was cold and just not nice in general. The hotel is nice and clean just a shame my view from the balcony was a tiled wall. The staff that were there were friendly but very over worked may be the end of season but with a full hotel you need more than 2 staff. It was a gd base for sleep but that was it.

1 week, full pansion
Pros:

Hotel was nice and clean, excellent location and friendly staff...
I would recommend to stay there as it is cheap and with very nice location.
Only thing was that Moremar seems to have paper walls so we couldn't sleep for couple of nights (in Moremar there's a lot of old people who like to stay in the room and move the "furniture" from one corner to another), but let this be....
Food....Moremar finest.... hoooly sh*t in it's all meanings..
Plates are creasy and dirty (you'll need to check every plate you take). Juice that's coming from machine is like the vitamin pills we used to drop in the water when kids. Coffee machines are probably left uncleaned forever, you can taste this sour milk in your coffee.
It was nice stay, but Moremars dining room should be avoided.

Worst hotel
Pros:

The walls are thin, the tv was tiny (no option for English subtitles either as every channel was Spanish), the food was absolutely disgusting so we had to eat out every day even though we were all inclusive. The mashed potato was yellow and I lived on chips. At least we were close to the beach and the room was clean so that’s something. We only went for 3 nights as a last minute budget holiday but I’d never return.

Rooms are ok, but food is a disaster.
Pros:

Rooms are clean, looks like on picture. Good location, close to beach. But I don’t recommend food in this hotel. Dirty dishes. Cold food. Nothing to eat. If you don’t get all inclusive you won’t get water to your meal... Pay extra for everything. Only breakfast are ok.

If you thought you'd booked a bargin break what you've really got is a really cheap holiday!
Pros:

On arriving at the hotel it is plain that the staff are not that keen on the English or any European guests. Clearly by the end of the season the bad behaviour of the many previous residents had began to take it's toll. Having arrived at 3.30am we were not greeted with a smile or welcome, the receptionist's attitude was you want a coffee at this time of night - bad luck!

On arrival to our room my friend and I were delighted to find that it was at least clean and the bathroom spotless, well done to the cleaning ladies. The pillows on the beds however, are as flat as pancakes and you only get one per bed, borstal like in many ways. The walls however are as thin as paper so you will be able to hear everything that goes on in the neighbouring rooms including all bathroom expulsions, delightful!

All hotels can manage a good breakfast right? Not this one! Powdered scrambled eggs, cold, congealed bacon and sausages, bad quality machine prepared coffee and fruit juices and fresh melon which had been left out close to close to onions, so didn't taste that good. The bread rolls were nice....... Thank goodness we only booked bed and breakfast! The local Spanish restaurants in the side streets offer a welcome alternative.

The firewater passed off as local alcohol is something to be avoided at all costs. The gin and wine will leave blisters in your mouth and will certainly kick you the next morning!

The bar staff are saints, the bar opens at 11am and closes at 11pm. Don't bring children to this hotel as the curse of the all inclusive will ensure that they get an education in the most appalling language and table manners as some hotel residents endeavour to eat and drink more than their own body weight in food and booze.

The pool is adequate and appears clean although one dip did result in an eye infection. In addition, when my friend cut her toe on the cracked glass on the bottom of the sliding entrance doors, we where handed no apology just some iodine and a plaster. No accident report was carried out or covering up of the cracked glass to make it safe, which could have done serious damage to a child's foot. Two days later the damaged glass door remained the same.

The beach is indeed 50 meters away, made of artificial sand, it doesn't really deserve blue flag status as I think we grit the UK roads with similar products in the winter.

Had it not been for some of the delightful people we met whilst we stayed at this shocker of an establishment and our Dunkirk spirit, we would have all been severely depressed.
