Tropical Divers Resort

Excellent resort. The room was clean and spacious. Dive shop had new equipment and were very professional. It’s close to downtown area (even can be a 10 minute walk) and close to most popular dive sites. Excellent value for the money, would go back

We had a great experience while staying at Tropical Divers Resort. Perfect place to base all your shore dives from. Room was everything we could ask for, the staff are friendly and extremely helpful. We could not have asked for a better place to stay. Sylvia goes above and beyond to make sure your stay is all it can be. Definitely recommend and we are returning in the fall for another two weeks.

I stayed at Tropical Divers Resort for a week in late April 2026 with my girlfriend and parents, and I couldn't imagine a better place to stay. The owners -- Prisca and her family -- were very accommodating. They picked us up at the airport, got us set up with a vehicle, made sure all our paperwork was in order before diving, and even set us up with a guide for our first dive.

The resort has an attached dive shop with convenient parking, which made loading and unloading all our gear easy. The location is about as good as it gets -- it's close to downtown but without all the traffic noise. Our room was on the backside of the resort. It was quiet, with plenty of places to sit and relax by the pool. Our rooms had kitchenettes in them, which is a major advantage on the island since eating out for every meal would get expensive quickly. However, if you want to eat out there are several good restaurants in walking distance and downtown is less than a mile away. All-in-all, I loved my experience at Tropical Divers Resort and would highly recommend it to anyone looking to spend a week in a tropical divers paradise!

I was here for a few guided dives and one fun dive with friends. Staff was very friendly and flexible which helped in our wishes. Dive master was excellent and took diving seriously with proper procedures and safety measures.

Very friendly and professional service. An excellently organized Open Water Diver course. Michael is a fantastic instructor! We learned a lot and gained many amazing underwater experiences. If we visit Bonaire again, we would love to come back to you for guided dives or further SSI courses.

Amazing and baeatiful experience

Great! Room was spacious private and comfortable. Staff was incredibly helpful and friendly. We rented a truck from them and they picked us up and dropped us off at the airport. It was easy to grab tanks and go dive anytime

Ons verblijf bij Tropical Divers Resort was prima. De kamers waren ruim voorzien van antimuggenmaterialen (horren, klamboes, citronellakaarten, enz.), we zijn dan ook niet gestoken :). De kamers waren ruim en de badkamer voldeed aan de verwachtingen. Het was stil op het resort en omdat wij een late checkin hadden, kregen we via whatsapp een filmpje over hoe we onze kamer konden vinden. Heel fijn!

We had a wonderful week at the resort. Highly recommended, and Silvia is a great hostess!

I was looking for a dive centre in Bonaire where I could complete my first two open water dives, I had limited time because I was on a cruise and we only stopped for the day.
The team at the Tropical Dive Resort were fantastic, Geert, my instructor met me at the cruise port, drove me to the dive shop and with the help of Sylvia I was kitted out and ready to go.
Over the next few hours we completed the two dives along the beautiful Bonaire reefs with Geert helping me complete the required skills tests.
All the team were excellent, friendly and helpful and I would highly recommend to anyone looking to Scuba in Bonaire, I just wish I could have stayed a few more days.
Hopefully I will be back again soon and I will certainly be planning to dive again with the Tropical Dive Resort team. 5 Star.

The people at this place treated me like family.

I have never written a bad review before, but here we go. Tropical Divers Resort is well set up for divers. They have good gear management areas and getting tanks for shore dives is easy. And Sylvia and Prisca are wonderful ladies. But the crushing blow down there is the MOSQUITO problem! You cannot escape them. They are everywhere, even inside the rooms swarming around the bed (which was equipped with mosquito netting). Since there are no chairs in the rooms, I went outside to sip a cup of coffee. Since it was windy, I thought that it would be safe. But no, I was immediately met with a swarm of thirsty bugs. So I went back inside, to sit on the bed and swat mosquitoes and wonder what they were doing wrong. I had been there two years earlier, and noticed a few mosquitoes, so I told management about them. But they have done nothing to address the problem, which makes this resort out of the question for now. They could also use a chair in the room (none), shampoo/shower gel or anything in the shower (none), and a working safe (broken). If they can get serious about addressing these problem, it would be a decent place. But for now, I can't recommend it.
