Homewood Suites By Hilton Belmont

Room was comfortable. The shower was roomy. The kitchenette was a nice surprise, equipped with all the basics and a full sized fridge. The pool and hot tub were clean. The breakfast buffet offered a nice selection and was rotated and stocked frequently. Good sound dampening.

Staff was very nice and helpful.. I specifically asked for room in rear of complex which I did not... that was fairly minor since the widows are insulated well....

I travel 2-3 nights each week (lifetime diamond with hilton) and occasionally stay here since for the Bay Area - it is generally well priced. The hotel itself is relatively new but it is not being maintained very well. Not sure if it was the choice of fabrics and finishes or poor maintenance and housekeeping but there are noticeable stains throughout the property. Hall carpets are uniformly dirty, chair in rooms by dining was disgusting and stains on walls - even in bathrooms. In addition, the food for breakfast and the one day per week dinner reception is average at best. Finally, and this is not the hotel's fault - but the rooms close to the highway are quite noisy so if you stay - request a room back by the bay. For comparison - the Homewood in Palo Alto is much much better in all areas - but often more expensive - and my company wants me to stay below 325 per night if possible - so I say here when the Palo Alto property is too pricey. Overall - this property is not being managed as well and it shows.

We stayed here twice the October visit was lovely. Very personal staff, quiet room. Typical hotel buffet although some food was undercooked so not edible.

The second stay was awful. Inconsiderate people on floor about dragging chairs across the room at 11:30 pm. running, stomping loud voices until 11:30pm.

We needed to be up early the December stay and we did not get much sleep.

The hotel needs to do something about the noise caused by chairs moving across the floor.
They need to put a quiet hours notice on doors in rooms. Waiting until 10:30pm unacceptable for a hotel 15 minutes from an airport.

The staff were lovely both stays. Breakfast you only get waffles on weekends.

It was clean both stays. Fire pit has not worked in a year according to one staff member.

We have mixed feelings on this location. If staying people with children could stay on 2nd floor so as not to cause a disturbance to those without.
As a parent I understand the need for child to roam play etc. even crossing international time zones.
Please be considerate of other guests.

Those who want more quiet maybe 5th.

We would stay on the 5th next time.

Reiterating hotel could mitigate some of the noise by putting sound barriers in the flooring or replacing tile with a less noisy type flooring.

This is my preferred Hilton property. The suite is beautiful, clean and spacious. I accidentally left my bag behind and the hotel reached out to me and held it for me until I came back for it. Great customer service!

The morning breakfast was not ready at 6 am on 11/27th. The person brought some food around 7:10 am. Since I needed to catch a plane, I just had a little. Disappointed.

We had a rough start but ended on a great note. I was disappointed about the parking fee and will consider that when I stay in the area again. We have stayed at this location several times.

Excellent short stay, super clean, and efficient. Friendly, responsive, and helpful staff. Only downside is hidden parking fee.

Excellent room and rate. Thanks to Alondra it was great. The bed was a little soft for me..but the room felt like a studio apartment.

Clean, quiet and a great value. Parking is convenient, and its great that the room is appointed appropriately every time. Lina is fantastic, and always helpful :)
