Friendly service, good communication, solid stay overall! Not the nicest hotel in the world but a sweet little slice of the luxurious beach life for a very reasonable price.

Beautiful hotel with great views from the terrace. Very clean and comfortable rooms.
Location is good - be aware that there is a short walk to the property up a steep hill. Might be challenging for some.

Pleasing artistic touches on the property and in the rooms. A nice view aside from the communications tower right next door. No fridge in the rooms.

The view was incredible!! The rooms were clean and great and the private balcony was so nice. Loved my stay here it was so lovely and relaxing.

A very beautiful quiet place, incredible views. Omar, owner, always available to help with anything. Really a stunning place to stay.

The hotel had wonderful grounds, maintained very well by a gardener with a beautiful swimming pool. However while the bedroom was very large, it felt very much style over substance.

A very tired shower which was almost too painful to use. Toilet rolls which weren't replaced. There was no wardrobe or mirror in the bedroom which is a very basic ask at that price. There was also a very wide window which let light in the minute the sun came up. For a very light sleeper, this proved really irritating.

On 2 separate mornings, the cleaners popped their heads round the door to check if I was still there. This was at 8.30am! The first time, I had to cover up as I was still in bed with no clothes on. Quite embarrassing! The owner did apologise(thank you), but on checking out there was another issue. He tried charging me 6 nights, although I'd paid for 5 before arriving.

I told him I'd paid but he didn't believe me (!) and kept trying to tell me I hadnt paid. In my eyes, the customer is always right, especially when you're charging rates as he was. I had to show him our previous conversation as proof. His response was "oh, I forgot". I felt it was his job to know, and if he had forgotten, apologise. I ended up second guessing myself even though I knew I was right.

He helped me down with my bags but didnt bother saying bye.

Its a shame as the grounds are lovely and the whole thing could be wonderful but his attitude and lack of decent service tarnished it.

Very nice place to stay, quiet and clean. Amazing view from all rooms. Pool was immaculate and fun to swim in at night and look at the stars. AC was useful due to humidity. We did not need a car but we came for a few days of just going to the beach and not sightseeing. Cabs and public transport easily arranged if we needed.

We were only here one night but wished we could have stayed longer. Staff are great and the place is well taken care of. Amazing views from our room and the pool. Short walk to restaurants and the beach. Fairly steep road up to it so if you have mobility issues that could be a problem, but otherwise it’s only a few minutes uphill from the main road. Would definitely stay here again.

This is my 2nd time here, will definitely come back!

Loved this place so much that I decided to miss another hotel reservation in puerto escondido and stay an extra night. The man and his staff that run this place are incredibly friendly and helpful. I can't wait to come stay here again

Casa Qi is a quiet little gem along the Oaxaca coast. Absolutely spotless, responsive staff, spectacular views and quiet, Casa Qi was perfect. The quiet is earned by a rather steep uphill walk from Mazunte town uphill to the hotel. It’s worth the effort.

Totally did not expect the hotel Location I do not like give a bad review to nobody but this is a review just to let everyone know that there are certain things that we did not like
1- The shower stall had a bar sticking out and I cut my head on it
2- There where ants running around on the bathroom floor
3- They only provided one bed sheet no bed spread.
4- They ask you to turn off the air conditioner every time you go out and if you don’t they go in and turn it off.
6- No hairdryer
7- No mini fridge
8- No hot water
9- Too expensive $$$$$$&& for what you get

Beware.

Only, personnel service, management not good at all, no hot water no soap. Too expensive for the location and services around.
