We rented two rooms for our family and both were very clean, and the layout was great.
The air conditioning kept coming on, even after we adjusted it. We finally managed to set it at 70 for the duration of our stay.
I love how close it was to the train station as we were traveling into the city to celebrate my daughters 19th birthday.

My boyfriend and I have chosen this location for the past four visits when attending Islanders, Rangers, and Knicks game nights, particularly on nights we anticipate returning late. Given the distance we travel, this property has become our preferred option. The room is beautifully maintained, the kitchen option is very convenient, and the bed is consistently comfortable. We have thoroughly enjoyed each stay.
I hope this message finds you well. I wanted to share some feedback regarding my most recent stay.
While I have consistently had positive experiences in the past, this visit fell short of the standards I have come to expect. The room did not appear to be as clean or as well maintained as during previous stays. There were multiple cracks in the shower tiles, and the shower doors would not remain closed, repeatedly sliding open. This resulted in significant water on the bathroom floor after each use, requiring us to clean it multiple times during our stay. Additionally, the curtain by the window next to the bed was broken, allowing light to come through, which affected the comfort of the room. This should be addressed.
I was also disappointed with the check-in experience. Upon arrival, there was no greeting or acknowledgment. After providing my name, I was informed that there was no reservation under it. I explained that I had booked through Booking.com, as I have done for prior stays. I was then told that this may have been the issue and was asked to provide my confirmation.
When I provided the confirmation number, the front desk staff entered it into the system but could not locate the reservation. I was then asked to read the confirmation number aloud, which I did, but the reservation still could not be found. After spelling my name multiple times and providing additional details, the reservation was eventually located. I was then informed that the issue was due to the name entered, as both my name and my boyfriend’s name were included. I explained that this information had been entered during a previous booking and had not been changed, as it autofills each time. Unfortunately, this explanation was not acknowledged, and at no point during this interaction was an apology offered.
The remainder of the check-in process felt similarly dismissive. Despite mentioning that we only needed one key, two were provided without acknowledgment or communication.
