I am disappointed with our recent stay and breakfast experience.
After waiting around 30 minutes after ordering breakfast, we were told that there was no vegetarian breakfast available. This should have been communicated to us when we placed the order, not after such a long wait.
What was even more disappointing was that no alternative breakfast options were offered. For example, we were not offered a continental breakfast or any other available vegetarian items. Instead, the immediate response was to offer a refund. This gave the impression that serving us was no longer a priority. If alternative options had been suggested, we would have gladly considered them.
I do not know the reason behind this approach, but the end result was that my family, including my young children, were left hungry with no practical breakfast option available.
When I pointed out that this should have been communicated earlier, the server responded by saying that I was being rude. I chose not to respond further, but I do not think this is the right way to speak to a guest who is simply raising a genuine concern.
I am also not satisfied with the refund offered. We were charged £9.75 per person when making the booking, but only the children's breakfast was considered for a refund. Since the breakfast charge was applied per person and not separately for adults and children, the refund should reflect that.
In addition, the room was very hot during our stay. A small table fan was provided, but it was barely effective and no alternative arrangement was offered. This made the room uncomfortable, especially during the night.
Overall, this was not the level of service we expected. Being left without breakfast after a long wait, the way the situation was handled, the inadequate refund offered, and the uncomfortable room all contributed to a very disappointing experience. I hope these concerns are taken seriously and addressed appropriately.

Stayed for the night as we had booked into a show in the Play House theatre. Fab position overlooking the beach and only a 5 minute walk to the theatre and pier.
Staff are super friendly and have good advise. Nice lunch and drinks in the beer garden.
