Convenient and reasonably priced accommodation with easy access to the Peak District
Pros:

Convenient for where we needed to be. Good car park. Friendly staff, who helped us when we needed access to the hotel during a fire in the kitchens! Good breakfast, well cooked.

Furniture in communal areas a little worn
A few snagging issues in room- holes in bathroom walls where fixtures had been removed, scuffs on skirting board, mirror too far from sink to apply contact lenses/ apply make up

It was convenient for our journey. Breakfast was fine.

Cons:

There was a fan/extractor outside the window of the room which was noisy. There was no toilet brush, no plug for the wash basin and also no hand rails for the bath/ shower. Dust on several surfaces. The bar was extremely noisy and the food was below standard.
