Pros:

Good location for the airport, convenient.
Comfortable rooms, staff welcoming.

Cons:

Busy pub, rooms located near outside decked area which was very noisy in the evening, not convenient for rest ahead of an early a.m flight.
Quality of public food not great.

Very disappointed with the room as the food and staff were lovely.

The food and staff were lovely

Cons:

The location of my room was awful right at the front of the hotel. I did not sleep all night with the constant traffic noise due to poor quality windows ion the room. The mattress also was far to firm which again added to the problemm.

If you want value for money, go elsewhere

The bed was comfortable.

Cons:

The cost of the stay dropped by €21 but booking.com refused to refund the difference. The paintwork in the room was peeling off and surfaces were sticky, overall shabby. For the price paid, £100, I would expect at least a complimentary bottle of water, there was no shampoo or shower gel either, the bottle was empty. The room was stiffling hot and due to the road noise open windows were not possible,of course no aircon. No shuttle service to the airport is offered and the taxi is £25 for a 2 mile ride. I struggled to find anything interesting on the mundane "pub grub" menu so ended up with steak, there was more gristle than meat. No one asked if the meal was satisfactory or if I enjoyed it.
I understand that a premium is paid due to the location near the airport but value for money is extremely poor when you take in the additional taxi ride and service provided.

Cons:

Woken both nights at 3.30am by the person either above or beside our room, can't avoid creaky floors in an old building but this was as if they were reorganizing the room, went on until 4.30 when they left the building 😭
