In the country. Hallways are so long I asked for room closer to exit. No carpeting. Adequate as I was hardly in the room except to sleep. No complimentary breakfast, coffee in the morning. Clerk not happy when I asked for a different room. Probably wouldn't stay there again.
This was a convenient stay for us while visiting family in the area, and a good value compared to others in the area. Happy that they had laundry facilities. Complimentary coffee was not half bad! Bathroom is small. Fitness room has no WiFi or cell signal. Both of those are minor things though. Staff was super friendly and helpful.
Clean room, sample shampoo was half empty so didn’t use them. The walls are thin, could hear next door on the phone til late hours. Tried to turn thermostat fan to on instead of auto to drown out the noise but it kept turning off anyway. Dining was delicious! Staff were friendly.
Our only complaint was that breakfast is not served on Monday and Tuesday. Our stay was from Saturday until Monday. We had appointments on Sunday that prevented us from enjoying breakfast. We looked forward to breakfast on Monday, only to be disappointed.
The hotel was easily accessible from the main highways. Nice location.
Excellent stay. Staff was superb. Room was perfect. Recommend to anyone looking for the right spot
Very good
Awesome place staff well maintained clean and comfortable
needs rehab. not the cleanest place
The Staff was Extremely Friendly, id give them 10 stars.
The room was clean, spacious, and up to date.
We needed the room early .Matt was very accommodating to check in early!
No maid service provided during 4 day stay.
I love our annual meetings at your hotel. You have the nicest staff. I love Dorie-she is so welcoming and efficient. Amber ,at the front desk is so friendly and helpful. Paul did a great job in the bar keeping all the preordered meals organized. You are so fortunate to have such a hard working staff. I look forward to next years visit. Many thanks.
First, I read a review that indicated that "you get what you pay for" in a negative way - I have to say I have no idea where that person stayed, because this hotel definitely exceeded my expectation while maintaining a fair nightly rate.
The room was huge. We needed extra space to relax while working around our New College student's schedule. The couch was comfortable and we had room to stretch out.
Shower pressure was amazing and thats a big deal after a day that consisted of 5 literal miles of walking.
The breakfast buffet was standard, however, the effort put into a multitude of options was above and beyond. Most hotels have foregone providing such a nice spread - and I truly appreciated it.
The staff - so nice.
Aydin at the front desk deserves a raise. From checking us in (while another woman rudely interjecting herself -because she couldn't wait her turn) to my overhearing him handling a difficult person on the phone (also- the snack selection was so large that I had a hard time picking and thus heard a lot of the interaction) - he's composed, empathetic and accommodating.
The bartenders were so much fun to talk to.
All in all we absolutely enjoyed our stay.
The one, minor, thing I could point out - the hotel is immaculately clean, however, the hallway carpets could use a shampoo. Just to improve the smell in the hallway.
There was mold on the bathroom ceiling and the windows were filthy-you could hardly see through them.
The safe would not open and there was only 1 drinking glass next to the ice bucket.
I asked for a high floor and a corner room and got neither.
We've been staying there for 18 years, so we have seen some changes, and not for the better. The rooms need some updating. The food is very good but very expensive.
Overall, the appearance of this hotel was very nice. The clerk/manager who checked me in was polite and professional. Slightly disappointed in the elevators. The doors were incredibly quick to close, and the plate with the floor numbers above each of the elevators in the lobby were old and dingy. The room was spacious, and the shower was great. Much bigger issue was that breakfast was not included in a room that cost a total of $200. That's ridiculous! And if I wanted, I could have paid $17 for the breakfast that was offered?!? I won't stay at this property again.
Front desk clerk who checked us in was great! He was polite, friendly, and efficient. The food at the restaurant was very good. Bartender/waiter mixed a great drink and was attentive. Only downfall was the horrible smell of cannabis on our floor. The hotel is non-smoking but no one seemed to enforce it. The room was clean but furniture tired and worn.
We checked in dropped our bags and went out. Once back in the room my allergies flared up. My throat became irritated and even a rash started. Thought maybe it was just the room, however after looking at two other rooms realized that there was no way I could stay in this hotel. Went to the desk explained the front desk agent understood gave us the director of operations name in case there was a problem and told us he would make sure we were checked out and we left. However two days later I received notice that my card was charged for my stay
