Great stay, best staff
Pros:

Extremely attentive, helpful and friendly staff, anticipating one's every need. If you arrive by car, park on the sidewalk in front of the entrance and someone will take your luggage and park your car. We had a very nice, peaceful room - we asked to face the courtyard and it was very quiet. The hotel is a few minutes from the old town and many great restaurants. Hotel staff recommended a great restaurant called La Štruk, with Croatian specialties called štrukli of all varieties - we are grateful for that recommendation.

Cons:

The only problem: central setting for heating and air conditioning, so you can't set your own temperature. When we arrived it was a chilly day but it was set on air conditioning, and the room was cold. That's the only reason I gave it a 9, otherwise a 10. We requested extra blankets and after that we were very comfortable.

Nice overnight
Pros:

We stayed overnight in the nice hotel. Beautiful building, nice lobby, where you could sit with cocktail and chat. We stayed in a room that faced inner courtyard - it was quite, we didn't need view while sleeping. Breakfast was generous with good products.

We hadden een kamer aan de binnenkant genomen om een stille kamer te hebben. We kregen kamer 604.Het was inderdaad stil maar ook verschrikkelijk warm. De verwarming stond, terwijl het buiten 25 graden was, op 27 graden. Wat we ook probeerden de verwarming was niet uit te krijgen. We hebben daardoor slecht geslapen. De volgende morgen hebben we ons daarover beklaagd. Het dienstdoende personeel was bekend met het probleem. Het deed zich voor bij 3 kamers. Het was regelmatig gerapporteerd bij het management, maar die wilde er niets aan doen. We kregen wel een andere kamer. Kamer 509. Een kamer aan de buitenkant. Het was inderdaad lekker koel, maar deze kamer was bepaald niet stil. Ondanks de dubbele beglazing was het of de tram door je kamer reed. En er reed iedere 5 minuten een tram op grote snelheid voorbij. Dan het ontbijt. Dat zag er wel mooi uit maar de kwaliteit was beneden de maat. De gebakken eieren en worstjes waren koud. Dat kwam doordat de branders onder de chafingdishes uit waren. We hebben het personeel daarop gewezen, die de branders weer aanstaken, maar de koude eieren werden niet vervangen.
