The pool and bed was nice. The room had the essentials you needed overall. The landscaping was nice. Front desk was polite.

Cons:

The breakfast could use some help. The bacon was very thin and just fell apart because it was cooked too much and very thin. Not much variety and the set up wasn't great. As people waited to get their food like waffles, it took up room and people couldn't get what they wanted. We ended up leaving.

It's an old motel with a fresh coat of paint - go elsewhere
Pros:

Staff is nice and friendly. Well that covers the good parts. First, let's establish that this is a very old Motel with a M and not a Hotel with an H. The room was run down, carpet torn, holes in the wall, everything seemed from the 80's. Example: popcorn ceilings. The outside (the part you would see from the road) has been painted recently and looks good but the part you actually live in during your stay has not been refurbished in a long time. Housekeeping never set foot in the room for the 4 days I stayed, I was told they would be doing the room every other day. The grounds are poorly light (except for the part you see from the road - seeing a trend here) and the sliding glass doors next to the bed -I was on the 1st floor- opened to a dimly light alcove with more dark corners than lighted areas. Just never felt safe to me. Bathroom was right out of the 80's. It was apparent that management was doing the absolute least to meet Marriott standards for refurbishing and updates (exterior paint/ exterior lights) while saving any investment money for renovations until Marriott threatens to end the contract. Simple, there are other choices in the area - choose one of the others.
