I recently stayed at The Darcy for about a week, and overall it was a really pleasant experience. From the moment we arrived, Desu greeted us daily with such warmth and professionalism. He graciously helped with our luggage, made sure we had water, and assisted with transportation whenever we needed it. That level of consistent care truly made a difference in our stay.

The staff across the board were very kind and helpful, always willing to answer questions or assist with anything that came up. The only issue we experienced during the trip was that the television wasn’t working properly. Aside from that, we had no complaints.

It’s always the people who make a place memorable, and the hospitality here definitely stood out. I would absolutely consider staying again.

My family and I stayed in DC for an extended trip due to the snow storm in the NorthEast. I completely feel in love with the Darcy. The staff is amazing and the service was wonderful. I must give a special thanks to Desu, Solomon, Ben, and Oscar! They made what could have been a major inconvenience into a relaxing, much needed, vacation.

I stayed here with family for a few nights. The location is great for visiting the Capitol, and the food at Gerard Street Kitchen was spectacular. The general atmosphere of the hotel was nice, but the room we were in didn't meet our expectations. The bathroom sink faucet leaked, and the bed sheets were super thin. It seemed like the hotel splurged on lobby renovations to appear high end, but the rooms still had 1-ply toilet paper and cheap sheets. We probably will not stay here for our next DC trip -- but we'll definitely eat at the restaurant!

This is a wonderful small hotel in a very nice location in Washington DC. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Bingham Matusse and Ben were particularly helpful. I will definitely stay there again.

Really nice unique hotel in the heart of DC. My room was great. Service was wonderful! My room was nice and comfy and the people at the front desk were great. Everyone was super nice, especially Solomon who helped me with my bags and valet! Appreciate the welcoming atmosphere!

Desii and his colleague on the front door looked after us well. From helping me get my lost luggage from the airline to assisting us with various cars and trips. He made it easier for us to use the hotel as a place to conduct buisness from.

From beginning to end, our stay at The Darcy was an excellent experience. All of the hotel staff were prompt, professional, helpful, and kind. The lobby offers a spacious seating area, as well as more seating in the front room closer to the restaurant. The complimentary cocktail hour was a lovely service, and the non-alcoholic option was a nice way to be included. Our stay was quiet for the most part; the only noise we could hear was the occasional hotel room doors closing, but once we were asleep that wasn't an issue - light sleepers may want to bring earplugs if the doors might wake you. The room itself was nice and clean, and the bed and pillows were very comfortable. It was a wonderful stay, especially for the price. I appreciated discount pricing for locals, or even for reserving your room far enough in advance. We will definitely be back again! Thank you for such a great stay.

Solomon and Biniyam were the best with the Valet and helpful navigating the hotel

The Darcy is a hidden gem. Loved my stay there. The rooms are nice and spacey and love that there’s a restaurant/bar in the hotel. Shout out to Karima for making sure everything went smoothly!

We stayed here for a volleyball tournament. The hotel was amazing on all accounts. They were accommodating and included a board room for the players to meet and congregate. The rooms were nicely decorated and very clean. The main lobby was inviting and the staff were excellent. Highly recommend this hotel.

The staff at this hotel is amazing! I worked in hospitality in Las Vegas and this team outshine all of it. Myself and my boyfriend were staying here for his business trip and while he was at work the team here made my weekend. I enjoyed the complimentary bike to travel around in. The staff made sure I had water and even gave me a rose for Valentines day, and the Door Bell staff... always a smile and helpful. I can't say enough. KARIMA, SAFY, DALAOU, AND DJ... THANK YOU FOR A WONDERFUL WEEKEND!!!! YALL DESERVE A RAISE!
