The Darcy Hotel

One of my top choices when visiting DC. Elegant and homey, luxurious and a good value. The door staff is extremely friendly and helpful. Rooms include such niceties as an umbrella on lend when those unexpected showers arrive! Easy walking distance to the White House, Dupont Circle, and 14th Street eateries and nightlife. The restaurant is quite good, as well, and has been a welcome bit of comfort food after many a long day. A real gem and my home away from home!

Such a great experience…again. Kyle greeted us and then treated us to a beautiful upgraded room.
When checkout time came Karima was as nice as she had been in the past. Yes, we remember her. And DJ the doorman quietly does his job so well.

I loved my experience at the Darcy! From the staff to the ambience, everything was positive. The location is perfect, and the rooms are clean and a nice size. The lobby is spacious and aesthetically pleasing. Safa DJ is an amazing staff member who made sure my stay was top-tier. I’ll definitely stay at the Darcy again!

This is my go-to whenever I’m in DC. For example, weary from a busy set of meetings, today I came back to the hotel and was greeted with a happy hour beverage, and Solomon took my luggage and got me a bottle of water.

The service was excellent. Staff were incredible and so kind. Particularly Solomon at the valet and Karima at the front desk.

Really enjoyed our stay! Front desk workers Kyle and Karima super helpful. Would definitely stay again next time I visit DC with my family.

A very good hotel for the price. Appreciated the 24 hr fitness center. It would have been better if they had a business center.

Easily the best hotel we've stayed at in terms of service, hospitality, cleanliness, lighting, art installations, the restaurant, the WATER PRESSURE omg - best we have EVER had and the walkability to everything cool in DC. The ONLY complaint is our mattress was not particularly comfortable and actually sagged quite a bit in the middle area, which did not feel great on our backs. It seems due for replacement. Other than that, we felt very taken care of and this hotel truly felt like home for the holidays - we stayed Dec 21 to Dec 28. Special shoutout to Safae and Solomon who were on top of it. Safae noticed when I left a facial spray product on a chair in the lobby. When I circled back looking for it later she had it safely behind the desk. She also graciously took my panicked phone call from the airport asking if we could Doordash and Uber Eats food to the Darcy since our flight got in at 1am, and we were on west coast time and starving. She followed through on her word and kept an eye out for both orders, then stashed them behind the desk and communicated with the next shift so we were able to land, get to the hotel and enjoy a delicious dinner at what ended up being 2:30am, a time nothing healthy would have been available for delivery. That was SUPER appreciated, thank you Safae! She was also lovely on the phone and handled me yelling at the airport over the phone (it was loud, and we were in transition). There was a third staff member whose name I didn't catch who took care of extra pillow deliveries and a spare luggage rack for us. Overall, great stay, great food, SUPER COOL Lego display! I also thought it was cute how the restaurant staff was on theme for Wicked. There was a really cool guy working behind the bar and serving food too, probably late 30s or mid 40s, black hair, he was really cool to us and we saw him a few times too.

Amazing service! Very accommodating, clean, very professional. Would definitely come back and 10/10 recommend.

The doorman Desu was absolutely lovely always smiling, helpful, and genuinely kind!! He made us feel welcome every time we came and went. Such a small thing, but it really made a difference to our stay :D thank you Desu!!

I had a great experience at the Darcy. I arrived early and they went out of their way to get me a room. I would definitely return to this hotel. Ellen, Mairely and Safor were amazing at check in.

Good hotel for downtown DC, but I’d probably not stay again. Beds way too soft. Restaurant food was meh, and bar tender sucked at most drinks. Did have the best water pressure of any hotel shower I’ve been at. Best mini fridge I’ve used as well.

Excellent location to see and do everything.. kids came to hang out at hotel and the lobby is super comfortable and beautiful.. even got a picture print out of the mattress from Ellen at the front desk.. it was heavenly to sleep on… all of staff were helpful and friendly especially valet,

I 100% recommend coming here. The staff is absolutely incredibly helpful, friendly and kind! They go above and beyond to make your experience amazing! The hotel is super clean and close to so many places! The rooms a spacious and the aesthetic is gorgeous!

Clean, quiet, modern room. Lobby has a good vibe. Friendly staff helped make the stay comfortable. Great location and value! Lots of restaurants in walking distance.

Kayla provided an outstanding level of guest experience when my business trio was extended at the last minute. She secured an extra night and was incredibly accommodating and kind. Good location and awesome burger at the bar.

The hotel is great, but the staff are even better. Kayla at the front desk was awesome and super helpful. She has a great personality and helped us when she recommended creative ways we could extend our stay. She’s a great asset to the organization.
