I booked and paid ($127) for a two-night stay at Alexander Plaza hotel in Accra, Ghana via your Orbitz service on January 26, 2019, but when I arrived at the hotel on Wednesday March 20, 2019 the hotel management informed me that there was no record of my transaction. I did provide the online receipt and payment information for verification purposes, but the management informed me that my record was not in their computer system. The management then offered to rent me the same room for more than six times the price I paid online via Orbitz on January 26. I was stranded for SEVERAL hours in a foreign city with no place for lodging due to budget constraints. The experience was very inconvenient, frustrating, and unnecessary. I kindly request that an investigation be carried out by your company to determine what may have resulted to this poor service and inconvenience. A simple refund to remedy the problem will not be enough and I demand a thorough investigation into the matter. Thank you very kindly for your assistance.
