Hilton Melbourne beach oceanfront hotel
Pros:

Pleasant stay. Warm welcome. Friendly staff. Room was clean comfortable and quiet with nice view of the ocean. Food and drinks were good. The property is very well cared for but may benefit from an update. We would stay there again when in the area.

Hospitality at its best
Pros:

We are heading back for another stay and looking forward to another wonderful experience. Walking in and being greeted by Nichole, Koreen. Krista, Erin, Leah and Sebino is like coming home. Everyone is so welcoming. We're always treated well in the dining room at breakfast by Melissa, Tim, Chris, Anthony and Chef Franco always knows how to make our eggs just right. For the dinner hour we also get excellent service from Tanya, Robison and Erick. Whenever we have an issue in our room Doug and Orlando are there in a jiffy and make all necessary repairs. Last year our housekeeper, Josie was efficient and so sweet. We can't say enough positive things about the staff and management. Thank you.

Sehr gute Lage am Strand.
Betten sind bequem.

Cons:

Man erfüllt hier als Gast genau einen Zweck: Man hat zu zahlen.
Das Einzige, was der Zimmerpreis beinhaltet, ist das Zimmer und die Möglichkeit, Strandhandtücher zu leihen und den Pool zu benutzen. Zumindest, wenn man es schafft, eine Liege zu ergattern, die im Winter Sonne abbekommt.
Ansonsten ist hier nichts nett, schön oder Gastfreundlich. Das Frühstücksbuffet muss bezahlt werden und beinhaltet eben nur das sehr durchschnittliche Buffet. Am ersten Tag gibt es 2 kleine Wasserflaschen aufs Zimmer, die aber nicht aufgefüllt werden.
Die Zimmer wurden irgendwann frisch gestrichen, aber nicht tiefgründig renoviert. Das Bad hat das Flair eines Straßenrand-Motels aus den 80ern, die Klimaanlage ist oldschool, also sehr laut.
Parken kostet 18 USD pro Nacht. Kaffee am Morgen gibt es genauso wenig wie einen Trinkwasser-Spender. Noch nicht mal eine Seifenschale im Bad ist vorhanden. Das Personal ist höflich, aber in keiner Weise hilfsbereit. Immerhin war es sauber.
Insgesamt ist das Hotel für seinen Preis sehr unterdurchschnittlich.

The only issue is the advertised balcony isn't one you can sit on, it's just a very narrow balcony with no room for a chair.

No Housekeeping!!
Pros:

I put my daughter and her husband up in this hotel for four nights from January 1st. The whole time they were there despite not being at the hotel much during the day, their room was only cleaned once. You have to wonder what excuse was made...I think Covid would be a little lame at this point. Next visit I will put them up at the Crowne Plaza just down the road, as this was not acceptable!! They were at the Crowne last summer and it was a much better experience.
