Hotel is nice enough but I'd save my money and book elsewhere
Pros:

The hotel itself was nice enough however the experience of booking through Hilton even as a gold member leaves a lot to be desired. Hilton advertises that they will price match online websites that offer a better price.....they won't. And not only that they're completely rude and take pride in the fact they won't help you or give you consistent information (this is hilton corporate at least and not the hotel directly)
One of my issues with the particular hotel is regarding one of the perks of gold status is the complimentary late check out. I understand its based on availability but by the hotel I was told yes it is available however if you want it you have to pay for it.
Again the hotel is nice enough but just don't expect any customer service from hilton. So ultimately if I had to do it over again I'm probably going to move away using rewards with hilton. There's plenty of other major chains that might value my business more

Comfortable hotel, great people
Pros:

They entire staff is great. From the check-in, to the room attendant, to the pool bar/dining area. Nice people all around.
Good ocean views. Great sunrises.
We would stay here again.

Try Another Beachfront Hotel
Pros:

We had a terrible experience here. This was our 5th hotel on this two week trip- and it was by far the worst. First, we had to move rooms at 11:30pm because the AC was clunking like a drum. When we asked to move the response was “oh, we have gotten a lot of complaints about that room.” 809. What?? No refund or discount offered. You have to use a towel card to get two beach towels, so no impromptu beach adventures. The toilet plugged multiple times. Construction and jackhammers began at 9 am outside our room. The room was stocked with 3 towels, which is annoying for a family of 4. The lobby bathroom was being closed at peak times. The staff at the counter could not tell me where the stairs in the building were. With that being said, the room was very clean and the beds were comfortable. We do not recommend this hotel.

Cancelled Reservation without Notification
Pros:

I booked my reservation via Trivago. Upon my arrival, I learned from the Front Desk Clerk that Hilton had cancelled my reservation the day prior because it was marked as possibly fraudulent even though there was full payment in advance. Hilton did not notify me when they cancelled my reservation and they said they had no rooms available when I showed up to check in. I don't know the true reason for cancelling my reservation but to do so without notifying me is the reason for terrible rating.

Nice property. Nasty evening front desk staff.
Cons:

Front desk staff member was rude in a very nice nasty type of way. I booked a room with a view but only got a view of the roof. I was then told that they were all booked when I asked to switch rooms, then the excuse switched to I didn’t book a room with a view. The nice nasty front desk lady also said I would not be refunded if I didn’t accept the room. I would never go back.

Lovely stay, great staff!
Pros:

We had a great time! Location was perfect, right on the beach with a beautiful pool (and outside bar!). Restaurant onsite and others nearby.

The staff went above and beyond, between the power outage (not the hotel's fault) and helping me retrieve my personal belongings that I forgot in the room after checkout. Lifesavers!

Edwin, Sabino, Alex, Chelsea, Doreen, and Nichole - thank you all for a memorable trip for my husband and me. 💛 We'll definitely be back!

Cons:

Everything was great! The bed was really comfortable, clean room, great balcony view of the ocean. Can't beat it!
