The food at the restaurants was delicious. Staff were very friendly and helpful. The location is great. Beautiful spacious rooms.

The food at the restaurant was excellent. The bed was quite comfortable and the bathroom was clean with an appealing, modern shower. The room was outfitted with a nice array of kitchen appliances — dishwasher, Nespresso machine, microwave and refrigerator making it attractive for an extended stay.

Very modern and well appointed Hotel just around the corner from the action. Everyone has been helpful.

We stayed at The Blake Hotel last month for the second time, and the top notch level of service we received before was just as amazing this time. We had a minor crisis come up during our stay that was not related to the hotel, but the front desk staff still jumped into action to save the day. While it can be pricey compared to other properties in the area, it's worth every penny.

The hotel generally did not provide much service, no breakfast and limited hours of the onsite dinner restaurant. The staff was hit or miss. Sometimes you are welcomed by a staff member who was professional and helpful, and other times someone who seemed to prefer to be elsewhere. My recent stay was particularly bad, because the front desk staff, who claimed to be the manager, refused to intervened a noisy party happening in the room next to mine after 10:30pm. Rather she offered a full refund and moving to a different room, when I wanted her to knock on the door and asked the party to quiet down. It was a very unpleasant stay.

I never received the refund, even though the morning staff emphasized that they would call expedia... My email to the general manager Emma Swan went unanswered.

The Blake is a stylish hotel, where everything works as you want, and everything is clean. Its location was perfect for me, short walks to Yale and shops and restaurants and downtown. The people who work there are all really friendly and helpful.

What a charming hotel! It’s chic yet rustic, rooms are spacious with a cute kitchenette, bedding comfortable,and service is friendly and impeccable! Angel— you came through for me when I needed you most after a long delayed red eye! She could have just said no we don’t have rooms, wait until noon. But she patiently found a way despite the fact I booked through Expedia.

I stayed three days and the room is chic, decorated, and cozy. It is a 5 min walk to Yale campus and 2-3 minutes to a few famous eating spots! I’d definitely return to The Blake!

Bonus shoutout to the adjacent restaurant — great food, vibes Nd service. Only wished they also opened for breakfast and lunch with limited menu at least. Great stay!
