The self service cold breakfast was modest but fine. We were OK with no staff entering our room during our 3-night stay and we loved the freedom to wander in the faded grandeur of the building. Great location and atmosphere.
Lovely setting, beautiful room, easy parking, very quiet.
Bathroom rather tired,
Location amazing
Building is tired and in need renovation
We were the only guests using 6 rooms which were clean and very spacious- just needing an upgrade in decoration
The old-world charm of the manor house, as well as the view of the countryside and garden,
Continental breakfast was advertised as included. It was, however, a help-yourself breakfast bar of pre-packaged items and the bread was mouldy on our last day.
Beautiful location. Very peaceful.
Enjoyed our stay
Breakfast could be better
Location was excellent. The manager was lovely. The building was beautiful. The bed was comfy. Shower was good.
Nice location, impressive building that had seen better days. Breakfast consisted of cereal packets, bread, toaster, kettle. Told to help ourselves, no kitchen staff, made our own tea and toast, a complete let down from what appeared on your advert as a grand looking establishment
Messaged before arrival giving us code for front door as owner was not able to be there when we arrived. amazed to find that he was the only person working in the "Hotel ?"There was no Bar, no staff and we were the only visitors (Wife & Me). The lane up to the hotel was littered with deep potholes, The only good thing is the laughs we get on recalling our experience with our children
Wonderful 300 year old property and I loved the vibe of it though not everyone’s cup of tea because it has seen better times.
Basic room, a bit run-down
Very basic breakfast.
Very quiet.
Poor breakfast.
No facilities on site .. no bar|restaurant
Huge room, comfy bed and quiet location. The restaurant recommendation was excellent.
Large family room, comfortable beds, standard shower, good continental breakfast. Very quiet - lovely!
Old property and could have had a little more love. But for the money, very good value.
Shabby and dirty
The position of this grand old house with views over the local countryside is great and very quiet. We had a big room with a large and fairly comfortable bed. Gary was the only member of staff we saw but he looked after us well and is good for a chat.
Local pubs (the Bunch of Carrots and the Moon) provide good food in the evenings.
We were told that the hotel is recovering from a fire and is slowly coming back to it's former glory. The continental breakfast is very limited and they do no other meals during the day.
Really quiet location
Lovely room
Location spectacular, breakfast good. This is a unique property, a grand, spacious Georgian house, set in countryside but 10 mins out of Hereford, but close to good restaurant up the road.
Just a beautiful place' a lovely house, very friendly and welcoming and excellent value3
