It was a pretty, if slightly dated, room across the street from the Bay.
The room was listed as ocean view, which was a stretch. We were at the top grouping of buildings with a view, mostly, of the roofs of the other buildings. Off to the far left, there was a little triangle with a view of the water. The room should have been listed as a (very) partial view at best.
The patio furniture and some of the baseboards in the room were showing their age. The brown exterior siding and dark outside entry also felt a bit weather worn.

Nothing I didn’t like.
We absolutely fell in love with the view and surroundings of this Inn. VERY relaxing. Deck fantastic. Our room was very nice. The hot tub and pool were great. We thoroughly enjoyed our couple of days; and, wished for more. The Staff was amazing!
The pillows were just a little too hard. The mattress was slightly aging nevertheless comfortable. We could have used some cushions for the two outdoor chairs.
This was in a great location for visiting the Bodega Headlands. Also very nice restaurant on site for dinner and a nice restaurant across the street for all meals. Very nice pool facility.
Our 2 night stay was a bit pricy but it was a holiday weekend.

The Fish and Chips at the Tides Restaurant is top notch.
No access to bottled water or soda on campus. Had to go to the gas station at the foot of the property to buy a soda.

The location, the view, the tranquility, and the cosy atmosphere of the room. The swimming pool and its easy access.
The lack of the bed comfort and the worn condition of the bathroom (stains on the wall, faulty faucet).
Guests must leave the hotel to get a continental breakfast 200 meters away. The breakfast served at the table is very limited, with an extra charge for eggs, bacon and dairy products. Butter and jam are provided, but no toast or bread slices are available.

Beautiful property. I’m sorry my stay was so short (1 night). Check in was quick and pleasant. The room (upstairs, no elevator) was large and spacious and looked like it was recently renovated. I had an expansive view of the pool but more importantly, the bay. Dinner was halibut with the best lemon sauce across the street. Breakfast, the next morning was at the same place. They have a complimentary continental breakfast included in my stay. They serve it to you table side. It was a bowl of granola/milk, a bowl of fruit and a muffin and a croissant. If you ordered off the menu, you received 25% off. I’d stay here again.
