Nice hotel, great views, but no Air Conditioning and loud foghorn blowing through the night! Not much to do in Bodega Ba

Nice big size room. We had upper unit so the views were beautiful. Got room with fireplace but never used it!

Cons:

No air conditioning and it was surprisingly hot in the room in the winter time! Had to sleep with windows open to cool down the room. When the windows are open, you hear noise from the pool / hot tub but the worst part was the annoying fog horn going off every 30 seconds all through the night! Might not have heard it if the windows were closed but it was too warm to keep them closed.

Excellent stay, wonderful staff, very clean and close to activities.
Pros:

Excellent location very clean friendly staff.

Cons:

A few very tiny details, our chain lock was broken in our room and the fireplace cover was popped off and wouldn’t go back on. Just surprising considering the cost and up scale vibes.

Pros:

Very spacious with a couch and a table with two chairs in front of the window. The view was outstanding.
Very convenient location close to restaurants and the bay.

Highly Recommend
Pros:

Check in was easy and quick and the rates were reasonable, especially for a weekend on short notice. Throughout my 2 night stay the staff was extremely friendly and welcoming from the clerk at the desk, to the restaurant staff, to the housekeeping service. The room was well equipped and the view from my room was spectacular! The room was very clean and the bedding very comfortable - I slept soundly. I highly recommend and will definitely be back.

Nice stay at the Tides
Pros:

We stayed at the Tides on our visit to Bodega Bay and enjoyed our stay. The room was big, complimentary bottle of wine was a nice touch, enjoyed the hot tub, the view and the lady at the desk was very nice and helpful. Also liked they furnished robes and beach towels for the pool area. We'll be sure to stay here again.

Great Place for a Company Meeting
Pros:

I had a great experience at the Inn at the Tides in Bodega Bay. The hospitality was excellent, and my room was clean, spacious, and offered a beautiful view. Melinda helped facilitate a company retreat for a party of six and arranged for our meeting room, coordinated with our facilitator, and made all our meal reservations at the Bay View Restaurant and the Tides Wharf. My only issue was with the equipment and flip chart in the meeting room that requires some updating. That aside, I'm looking forward to returning with my family for a weekend getaway.

A Lovely Property that Just Needs a Couple Changes to make it outstanding.
Pros:

We love Bodega Bay. This is the first time staying at The Inn of the Tides. Staff is very accommodating. Rooms are spacious. The pool and hot tub area are lovely. Rooms could use some sprucing up for sure, but the price is decent for the quality. We had a vaulted king with fireplace. Loved the fireplace. They could do just a few things to make the stay SO much nicer. Their towels are like Motel 6. HORRIBLE. Our pool towels were still damp. There is NO shower gel. Weird. They did give a complimentary bottle of wine and offered free continental breakfast or 25 % off a hot breakfast at their restaurant across the street. It's a lovely property that could just use a couple of fine touches.
