Dejligt stille område i Istanbul. Rengøringen kunne være noget bedre, og man skulle bede om den daglige rengøring. Men ellers et ok hotel til billige penge, hvis man bare skal have et sted at sove.

It's not centrally located, I did not get to meet the host, the room was very bad, it didn't feel that safe either. Javed, the care taker was really good. There are better places to stay. It was not the easiest to get here from Taksim.

Good for the price. Nice personel. Good restaurant and caffes around.

While the rooms are quite nicely renovated they are badly managed. A moldy shower dirty construction in the building already put us off a bit. But it turned out the management is incompetent and unrespectful. We were told that they had overbooked and litterally just told us „sorry you have to leave“ half way through our booked stay. They were not accomodating at all and really ruined our trip.

I have stayed here last month with my friend. The location of this hotel is walking distance to the famous Galata Tower. The hotel is clean and we felt really comfortable when staying there. Will definitely stay here again for my next visit.

Stayed in ARX Suites from 7 to 12 Sept 2016. The room -with private kitchenette- TV, bathroom (with shower) was neat and offered all the comfort my friend and I needed: privacy, comfort of deciding whether to eat breakfast in or out, most important: a calm(er) area of Istanbul vs. the busy and noisy Sultanahmet where we had stayed in another hotel + comfort of having a tram stop at very close distance (from where we started our day trips). If you do not require five star luxury but prefer a neat room that offers all comfort without exuberant luxury, ARX is the place! Furkan, the hotel manager, is extremely helpful and will assist with advice where possible. One of us unfortunately felt somewhat ill (wrong choice of restaurant); Furkan checked upon his 'patient' several times during the day, volunteered to call a doctor... is really taking care of his guests! He made sure our transfer to Atatürk airport was smoothly organised (Furkan works only with drivers and taxi companies he considers trustworthy...and who do not charge any crazy price). Take time to get to know Furkan! He will enjoy a chat with anyone who has a genuine interest in (t)his beautiful city and the many things it has to offer. Staying with Furkan felt like staying in the house of family. The lively discussions about shared passions, about politics, his caring attitude... it all makes Furkan a very nice host. I will not doubt: when returning to Istanbul, I will get in touch with Furkan :-)

We stayed at the Arx Suites for 5 days and there's nothing to complain about. It was clean (and looked exactly like on the pictures) and the staff was friendly. The hotel is perfectly located for visiting everything you would like to and mostly you don't even need to use the bus or metro. If I'll come back to Istanbul one day, I would definitely stay there again!

The owner welcomed us on check in. Location is great, very easy to be reached by tram or metro, very close to Galata tower and 5-10 minutes by walk to Taksim, at the same time, quiet residential area that we much enjoyed. Apartment was very nice, spacious, nicely furnished with minimalist modern furniture, small but nicely equiped kitchen (a coffee maker, toaster, microwave, fridge...) & very comfortable bed. We even had a nice small back yard for our usage: great option for coffee & a smoke outside in the yard + some feline friends coming over:) A great experience overall, we would surely be visiting again in future!

Great place to stay a few nights and explore Istanbul. the owners/staff are very friendly and informative. The rooms are spacious and clean and are equipped with everything you might need. the location is also out of the typical tourist path, however still close enough to be able and explore with a child.

We stayed for a whole week in The Arx Suites and found it just delightful. Perfectly situated five minutes walk from Galata Tower, which is the start of the massive creative district of Beyoğlu. Staying and eating on the north side of the bridge here is highly recommended as we didn't run short of places in 6 days. You could explore forever.

Its also right beside Tophane Metro, which 15 minutes to get to the Old Town and visit all the main tourist sites. This only costs 4TYL (90p).

The room itself was massive for the two of us. A kitchenette came in very handy, and the bathroom is finished to a very high standard. A huge waterfall shower and walk in wet area was pleasant and so much better than a bath. Even a balcony, albeit internal facing.

Lastly the owners were most helpful. They arranged our free airport transfer from the airport, and taxi to the airport on leaving. They were both available by simply calling from the phone inside by the front door.

You won't be disappointed by booking Arx Suites. The location, rooms, or service.

Found this perfect apartment, in the perfect location for our 6 nights stay after reading many reviews and consulting many travelling sites...WOW was the first thing that came to my mind upon our arrival... Historical building with exposed bricks and lots of charm... fully remodeled and very comfortable... Very close to the tram and directly in front of a nice little café perfect for breakfast...Furkam the owner had a bad news for us after 1 night spent there ...he had to upgrade the heating-AC system and had to move us to an other property he owned... upgrading us to a 4 stars hotel in a suite with Bosphore view !!!! That is call GOOD customer services...!!!!
Would go back to the Arx Suites in a heartbeat...Fell in love with this hotel...and its nice location...

When we were first dropped off by the airport taxi, I was a bit nervous because the hotel was located in an alley and up a flight of stairs. Once we explored the city, this was such a great location- close to the tram, Galata Tower, Istiklal Street, and a 10 minute walk from the Karaokoy metro. The staff was super accommodating and friendly. There are only 4 rooms, so book in advance. You do have to climb a somewhat narrow staircase to get to your room. Though they don't serve breakfast, there is a great cafe/restaurant directly across the street. We would definitely stay here again.

Spent seven nights at Arx Suites at the end of a month long Europe trip. Finding a place to stay in Istanbul in our budget was a bit of a challenge and we're very glad we found this one!

The location is good, a five minute walk from Galata Tower and a two minute walk from the tram. There are two cafes right beside the suites and a few small grocers nearby if you need to pick up bottled water or breakfast items. The immediate neighbourhood is very quiet.

We booked a two person historical suite but were upgraded upon arrival to a bigger room on the top floor. The room is absolutely gorgeous and looks just as good as it does on their website - exposed brick walls, huge shower, white linens, a generous kitchenette area, daybed and seating area.

Upon arrival my husband and I met the owner, Furkan, and his business partner, as well as Bulent, who would end up taking care of us for the whole week. Every time we would return from exploring the city, he would be there to say hello and offer us coffee or tea, which he would then trek all the way up to our room, sometimes with cookies or fruit or other yummy snacks. If we ever had a question he was there to help us, and was always smiling and friendly. He made our stay at Arx Suites extra special for sure.

Although I gave this property five stars, there were two negatives that should be improved upon if at all possible. I am a light sleeper and I found the bed to be lumpy and uneven and i could feel springs poking into my body. The first few nights were especially rough as my body tried to get used to it. It was also hard to connect to and/or stay connected to the wifi. Sometimes the connection would drop while we were using the internet, and sometimes the correct network wouldn't be available on the list. Not a huge deal generally, but we were there for a week and had to check up on several things we wanted to do, maps, etc., so it could get a little bit frustrating.

I would not hesitate to recommend Arx Suites and hope to stay again someday!

Very cosy and clean apartement, great location, warm and helpful service. Bülent is the best host! Amazing breakfast in the cafe just across the street.
We've been very satisfied. We'll make sure to come back next year.

I thoroughly enjoyed my week-long stay at Arx Suites. I was in Istanbul for a conference, and it was delightful to have a bit more space than the average hotel provides. The owner and staff were very helpful, making sure I had everything I needed each day. There great cafes/restaurants and markets very nearby, with Galata Tower (and even more dining/shopping options) just a short 5 minute walk from the hotel. I felt very safe and secure throughout my stay.

Very comfortable and quiet hotel,more like a house- my husband, children and I stayed there with my parents., brother and wife, and two of our friends- this was a perfect place to catch up on our sleep. Very capable and thoughtful staff.

Location of Arx suites is perfect for istanbul tour. T1 Tophane tram station, Galata Tower and istiklal street are only 3~10 min from the hotel.
The room was very beautiful, clean and comfortable for us.
I really thanks to furkan who is the owner of this hotel. We could be there comfortably because of his kindness. If I visit istanbul again, I will stay in Arx suites.

호텔 위치가 이스탄불 관광하기에 딱 좋은곳이에요. 구시가지까지 가는 트램이 집 앞에 바로 있고(술탄아흐멧 역까지 대략 10-15분) 갈라타 브리지, 갈라타 타워, Istiklal 거리(탁심)가 도보로 5-10분 정도 거리에 있어요. 방도 깨끗하고 주인 아저씨도 엄청 친절하고, 덕분에 편하게 지내다가 왔어요.
