Quand nous sommes arrivés il y’avait une foule d’hommes devant l’hôtel pour essayer de transporter les bagages et gagner des tips. A l’accueil le personnel était gentil mais pas très accueillant. Il n’y a pas d’ascenseur donc pas évident pour porter les valises même si le personnel propose de vous les monter. La chambre est petite avec vraiment le strict nécessaire, nous avions que 2 prises qui fonctionnaient dans la chambre. La salle de bain est très petite, et la pression de l’eau est faible dans la douche. Il y’avait beaucoup de moustique notamment dans la salle de bain car il n’y a pas de moustiquaire, je ne m’y suis pas senti à l’aise du tout. Après nous avons payé la nuit que 24$ pour deux donc c’est vraiment très peu cher ce qui explique que le confort et les équipements ne soit pas excellent. Nous avions juste pris la nuit car nous partions à l’aéroport le lendemain. C’est bien pour une nuit mais pas pour un long séjour.

Pros:

Right by the port, so very busy with lots of porters descending on every tourist. Got scammed in the car park and charged by a porter who wanted 70 usd, negotiated to 25 to then discover it was 17,000TSH with the parking attendant! The hotel was practical, and exactly what you are paying for. Cheap and cheerful, clean and comfortable. Could do with a refurb with leaky shower.

Cons:

Its okay if you like busy places and the hustle and bustle of the port. Good sun rise view from the breakfast rooftop terrace. Breakfast was basic.

Pros:

Came back for another night before heading to Tanzania on the ferry early morning as a few minutes walk to the terminal.
Friendly staff kept our bags safe for our 3 days on safari. Gave a decent tip for this.

Cons:

Remembered the parking situation and didn't get scammed again despite the porters harassing us in the car park.
A breakfast box could not be accommodated.

Les photos ne sont pas conformes à la réalité !!! L'hôtel est très sale, on a dû redemander des draps car les nôtres étaient tachés + poils. le petit déjeuner n'est pas bon. L'emplacement n'est pas très loin du centre mais cest extrêmement bruyant, impossible de dormir entre l'appel à la prière et le départ des ferrys qui impliquent des cris non stop dès l'aube.

Pros:

The location is very nice I near to ferry port and Fordhani market and most of tourist places
The reception staff are very polite and responsive

Cons:

bed and mattress were not comfortable and the bed making noise, the water has low pressure so taking a shower is not easy, the breakfast is not diverse for 10 days the breakfast is only omelet no any other options
The furniture is so old and no TV in the room
