The staff was outstanding, area around the hotel was dirty, hotel room was Ok.
FUE BUENISIMA EXPERIENCIA ES MI SEGUNDA VEZ ALLI.
Older basic room with everything you need. Also bay view restaurant with local fare, eve happy hour-lower to midrange prices. Our 2nd floor room had a small balcony and 5 or 6 breakfast choices included. Small frige. Entire staff very helpful and friendly.
It’s a Beautiful place to get the whole experience of Bocas Town. The room’s balcony is the best part where you can staring at Bocas bay, laying in a “hamaca” it’s mindfulness. And have breakfast front sea view is wonderful! Another good point is the location, far away of the noise of the centre it’s very useful to get a relax vacation.
The hotel staff are great. Breakfast is very good. There is a large sitting area outside over the water. The rooms is a decent size but could use a new bed. We would stay again if in Bocas.
I was also lucky, my room, 13, was at the end of the building with full sea view, balcony and a great terrace with two hammocks right beside my door. This could have not been better. Simple but decent room, shower ok, no complaints.
Number 13 is not an unlucky number after all. Number 11 was, thus is what I had but switched right away due to AC issues.
Parking is limited but most tourist don't drive to the island, so me being lucky again, I have the only spot right beside the hotel. Pictures attached.
Diner also at the hotel, excellent food, met the cook, she would have donde anything to keep people happy. I had a delicious calamari dinner. Perfectly cooked.
Staff was very friendly. They let me check in at 9 am when arrived by ferry and even offered me breakfast because the next morning had to check out at 6 to get to the ferry.
I didn't wanted, wanted to head out right away but that was a nice gesture.
Zimmer hat nach Schimmel gerochen
It's a very weird place, very rude staff. About a week ago, their employees in front of the entrance invited us with my dog to their restaurant, saying that they are pet friendly. Today, I decided to go there to eat and drink something after a long day, and they just kicked us out, saying that people with dogs are not welcomed. The worker guy lazily sitting by the entrance was really rude. Looks like they like to humiliate foreigners and tourists. I would never visit that place even without my dog and do not recommend anyone to go there when there are lots of nice restaurants/hotels around with nice and friendly staff, good food and great prices.
Definitely a place I would return to and recommend, awesome service, very nice family environment, the staff where very professional and accommodating, thanks to owner as well which was present during the visit. Blessings.
I was disappointed with this hotel. No body at the front desk, when he apeared he did not know what he was doing, room was very small, bar or restaurant was closed and the area was very broken down,
This hotel was a 7 minute walk from the water taxi and a 5 minute walk to town. Hotel had a restaurant with good prices but we opted to eat elsewhere. Staff were kind and friendly. The room was a bit small for 3 adults and a baby but it was fine (we stayed in the multiple bed room). A/c worked wonderfully but there was a green light that lit up all night. It was bothersome. The ceilings can be remodeled as there are holes. The bathroom was tiny and had mold/mildew. Never got any warm water and the pressure was very weak. It was challenging to wash the sand off. Overall this hotel, in our opinion, should have been priced closer to $50 a night. Hotels.com couldn’t get us a partial refund and we couldn’t cancel as the deadline had passed. We made due and it’s fine if you’re planning to be out most of the day.
Desayuno bueno de frutas
I will first remember Nosario, their Mr. Fixit who fixed our A/C, programmed our Panama SIM card phone, stored our luggage, gave us ACCURATE directions to a hardware store, and returned my wallet left in our room. The head lady at reception was also competent, helpful and proactive. One waitress was clueless from beginning to end. Food was fine, right on the dock. There's a great balcony on second floor looking out on the bay. Central location for everything. This is a good compromise between staying at a hostel and staying at a 3-star hotel.
Q: Why do National China corporate interests get to build huge buildings on the water when everyone else seems to have to follow other rules? If China continues to gentrify this charming town, I'm out of there, like the locals and perhaps everyone else who doesn't want to spend $1,000/day
We really liked the location of this property. The staff were helpful. We'd come again.
Orbitz sold us a room that was booked was left out in the street thanks never again will l us your service’s and I will let others be aware
they were doing renovations to the lobby so a bit noisy and a bit dusty
We found this hotel to be adequate for our stay. The location is on the waterfront which was lovely for the breakfast as well as any time during the day to hang out. There was also a sitting area on the second floor which we used daily during our stay as the rooms were small and did not have seating. The breakfast was fresh and plentiful and the coffee was good and the serving staff was very accommodating. The wifi worked very well. The beds were ok and we did have a bar frig in our room. We didn’t use our balcony as it was small and overlooked a gutter. The location is good and Bocas del Toro is a very walkable town. We had easy access to restaurants, bakeries, grocery stores and other sites and services. The town seemed very safe And although we felt safe we wondered about the overnight security at the hotel.
