Had the best time away with family for Christmas! The environment is peaceful & quiet & transports you into a forest setting. Great service all around from reception to room service. The rooms were lovely & spacious. Room service was quick. The food there was worth every penny spent. Iam making a firm recommendation on Mr Norman Pawiye the Reservation Manager for a promotion based on his dynamic customer service whilst having a family dinner at the hotel concern . He has a dynamic customer service of client handling through hadhoc schedules and I personally recommend him for a promotion on merit through my honest observation .

A very nice atmosphere with fresh air and friendly working stuffs, including the rooms is also comfortable with luxury feeling that will make you want to stay back or visit the hotel again. The bathroom setup is more professional and in style. The Hotel is not that far from the Jackson's airport.

My first time visit and stay in this particular hotel was last January 2025. It was sponsored by our client, Hevilift Airlines.
It was just a few minutes away from POMS International Airport. The check-in process was quick and smooth sailing. The receptionist was very friendly and warm. I was amazed by the kind of ambience the hotel has, indeed it was fitting to name it as Sanctuary Hotel as it appears like the home of nature loving people. The environment is all covered with green ornamental plants and trees are all over. It is really amazing. I would love to stay in this hotel for as long as I am allowed. I have stayed here for more or less one week.
Then, fortunately, last November 2025, I went back to POM, PNG and to my surprise and enchantment, I was booked and processed to stay again for several weeks in this favorite hotel of mine even without me suggesting because I believe they heard me before saying that I want to be booked to this same hotel once I am in POM.
More so, since then, I would like to specially mentioned Mr. Sanny Bacaltos, Ops Manager, to recognize his profound hospitality and jolly friendliness not only to me and all my colleagues but also to the rest the hotel’s guests. He is one the most accommodating and respectful manager I ever encountered in my life as a traveler or tourist. Just name it and you will get it as long as it is within the bounce of his capacity. Truly it is worthy of emulation something to look forward to if I am at POM, PNG.
Finally, allow me to express my sincere recommendation and promotion of this hotel that i aim to address all tourists out there who wish to travel to POM, PNG and would like to experience the tranquility and peaceful stay in PNG by booking and staying in this indeed sanctuary of nature loving tourists. It was only a one night stay but we had a really great time.
We really enjoyed our stay. The environment was so quiet and peaceful and also the food was just great.
We really loved everything about Sanctuary Hotel and we hope to go back and spend a night or two again.

I enjoyed so much the food, the local delicacy was exceptional. The rooms were very neat which was a plus, and room service was top notch. A very special thanks to the staffs who wer very friendly especially a friend I made I guess his name is Jimmy Pisiro who was very friendly and always providing friendly gesture and assistance. He stood out from the many best staff you have.Suchna great experience.

The only hotel in the city that you can order delicious ENBP local dishes which certainly brings home closer especially when away from Kokopo in the city.

The staffs were friendly full of smiles and very helpful in assisting.

Efficient check in/out and Tech convenience was great, they actually gave an extra key up on our expected request.

I love the location of the hotel because it's convenient for me and my family. The setting of the hotel too is great. I love the atmosphere it's spaces and breath taking. I love the twin bedroom it's just perfect for me and my little family. It's actually safe too for me and my kids to be in the twin bedroom. And the pizza oh my son love your pizza and the food is just delicious. Me and my family enjoyed our weekend get away at your hotel. It's peaceful and quite especially for working mothers like me. The hotel’s location is extremely convenient, being so close to the airport, which made our movements smooth and stress-free. The staff were consistently friendly, helpful, and professional, always greeting us with a smile and assisting us whenever needed.

A beautiful place nestled away in North Waigani. Peaceful environment my husband loved it as he works in the conservation space and it really resonates with our little set up back home. Rooms are spacious and always clean. Staffs are friendly and always smiling with their homely greetings.
