Pleasant stay!
Pros:

This hotel location is perfect to explore East Austin. The supermarket and lots of restaurants are in walking distance. Great value for money, the room was large and very comfortable. It was pretty quiet and being on the top floor meant I had great views which I particularly enjoyed. The staff were great as well, very accommodating. I would stay here again.

Great location in east Austin, friendly staff

Cons:

Facilities more worn down than expected from the photos, felt quite "budget". The king room we had didn't have full separation between the shower and the bedroom (wall doesn't go all the way up). The hot water in the shower was on and off. Had to ask for hand soap for the room. Quite dark in the room with all lights on.

Good location. And good idea with the rooftop bar

Cons:

Damp smell in room, Ac was a little hard to control and kept turning off, also released an unpleasant odour whilst AC was on. There was very little lighting in the rooms so we had to use our phone torches. Also when we went downstairs to find how to use our $20 credit it was hard to find anyone to serve us or explain how the restaurant seating worked, amenities not explained much at all during check in. Good location but wouldn’t use it for much else other than that!

Pros:

We found the staff to be very friendly and helpful, especially considering our flights were delayed and our arrival was quite late at night. The rooms had beautiful decor and were very functional for a family of four. Beds were some of the most comfortable we've ever experienced in a hotel.

It was chill.
Pros:

Everything was neat and tidy. Pool was clean. Everything was alright. Very acceptable. Nothing luxurious or mind blowing but definitely not bottom of the barrel. We enjoyed our stay. The security with all the locked doors made me happy since there is A LOT of transient traffic around.

Cons:

I didn’t like that it wasn’t clear the bathrooms were communal but we upgraded for $20. I also didn’t like that parking was extra/separate.

I think more hotels should offer a bundle package. Room with bathroom and parking for one price. It seems like I’m being nickel and dimed for an experience I already want to pay for. If I got an upfront price and knew I didn’t have to worry about anything it would make traveling so much better.
