They charged me a $250 due to my address being local but previously I only paid $50
This is the worst hotel I have ever stayed at. The hotel management is extremely arrogant and rude.
My family of three checked into this hotel with our service dog. After staying for one night, we were informed that our service dog would no longer be allowed to remain at the hotel. In a written notice from the hotel manager, Lillie Rosso, she claimed that we had violated the hotel’s service dog policy by leaving the dog alone in the room and that our dog had been jumping around in the lobby area, posing a safety concern to other guests.
These accusations are completely untrue.
During our entire stay, we never left our dog alone in the room. There was one instance when someone ran past our room in the hallway and our dog barked once. Shortly after, hotel staff knocked on our door, and my wife immediately answered. At no point was the dog left unattended in the room.
As for the allegation about our dog misbehaving in public areas — this is simply false. Our dog was well-behaved at all times and never jumped on anyone or created any disturbance.
I responded to Lillie Rosso’s email and asked her to take responsibility for her statements and provide evidence supporting her claims. The hotel is equipped with surveillance cameras, and if the behavior she described had actually occurred, it should not have been difficult to provide proof. However, she refused to provide any evidence and declined further communication, stating that any additional discussion must go through Hilton corporate.
To be transparent, I will admit one thing: due to motion sickness, our service dog did vomit inside the hotel room and left a mark on the carpet. We fully acknowledge this incident. However, I do not believe that this is a valid reason to deny a service dog accommodation.
As a Lifetime Diamond member of Hilton, I am extremely disappointed. We chose this hotel because of our trust in the Hilton brand. Unfortunately, the management’s behavior and handling of this situation fall far below Hilton’s standards.
Before this incident, I believed this was the best hotel in the Racine area. However, because of what happened, we were forced to move next door to the Verdant Hotel. Unexpectedly, we found that even without this negative experience influencing us, the Verdant Hotel is far superior. It is newly opened, with significantly better facilities, both in terms of hardware and software, and the staff’s service attitude is far more professional and welcoming.
This experience has been deeply disappointing, and I sincerely hope Hilton corporate will take this matter seriously.
The hotel is beautiful and location is nice.
The pool area was freezing cold and the hot tub was broken. The pool towels were floor towels that couldn’t even wrap around a small child. Upon walking in the staff was not welcoming and gave us zero information about parking, where are room even was or elevators. I even mentioned we’ve never been here and there was no response about anything. And for that i will not be returning. A simple smile and thank you goes a long way also and there was none of that.
The rooms were booked and I needed an extra. Jessica was so kind to find my number and call me when there was a cancellation!
Gianni at the front desk went above and beyond in making me feel comfortable and taken care of and Jeff was also so friendly and helpful!! I came to get away and relax and this was definitely a home away from home I want to come back to!
Easy check in clean rooms

I was able to order and was served a glass of wine at the front desk late at night.
I asked for sweet red wine and the wine wasn’t sweet at all.
The staff working the day I checked were extremely helpful and informative, making a comforting good first impression. Everyone else followed the helpful attitude thru my full stay.
I was comfortable with everything.
