I can eat at a good price.
A good variety to choose from.
Excellent view of the harbor.
What am I a ground floor room?
Perfect spot to explore Racine walkable to downtown. Comfy room and really excellent service from front desk - shout out to Lillie.
I stayed here for one night. It was clean. The people were nice. The harbor is pretty. The area around the hotel could be better. But it was nice
the staff are the best. from front desk to housekeeping. liked the followup txt checking if all was satisfactory. location is the best for lakefront & downtown access. appreciate the suites.
breakfast wasn't impressive nor worth $18. mattress seemed very tired and lumpy.
Location
Building work under bedroom window. Breakfast staff felt like closing breakfast room early because he felt like it. General lack of facilities and attentive staff.
This is a fairly new property that looks out over the also-new Racine marina. When you face the water, there is an older dock area to the left, mostly for small boats and sailboats, The new hotel faces the new marina which is separates with its own breakwater and accomodates larger boats.
The hotel is typical of recent Hilton Doubletree properties, and is distinguished by being well-staffed, clean, and cared for. There is an adjacent parking garage to keep cars out of the weather, and a number of good restaurant choices in walking distance
Beautiful area and great location
Need a shuttle service
There's was so many smiles on staff and the hotel was super clean..
I enjoy my stay specially the pool
Prive
Price expensive l
Location near the water
Only thing couldn’t extend my time for check out
Room very nice and harbor view was wonderful.
My refrigerator wasn’t working.
Location
Nothing
We stayed here as a base for going to the Johnson Headquarters. Very clean and nice hotel with friendly staff. The location is ideal for walks along the harbor. Wish we had another day to explore more of Racine.
Room was pretty nice and clean
Very small and narrow bathroom, quite difficult to use toilet as the door were just inch away from it…
And pillows were so soft and think we couldn’t sleep…
Convenience to the city and marina.
The bathroom exhaust fan did not work. And the breakfast that was provided at a fee had no variety day to day and was no different from hotels that offered free breakfast.
The location was perfect for us.
Our room was not that clean, worse part was the hair in the bathtub, the bathroom was so small you couldn't hardly dry off and I'm not a large person. Coffee in the room was not good. I watched others getting warm cookies as they checked in, I was apparently not warm cookie worthy. 😒
We stayed here from 6/5 to 6/7/26 in room 302. The room was an upgrade (thanks Doubletree) and has a very nice harbor view.
It was good sized, with the sink area outside the toilet/bath room which is convenient. The toilet/shower area is small but functional and the sink area has some counterspace. The room has a fridge and coffee maker. There is a closet with hangers across from the sink. There was no suitcase rack but there was a spot to put one suitcase on. The internet worked well for our tablet but was hard to connect to for our laptop. It did not seem to like our VPN.
Parking was in the public garage across the way. It was $5/day with unlimited in and out. There is a loading/check in parking area in front of the hotel.
The front desk staff (in and out) were fine.
The related restaurant,(Harborspot), was excellent, good food and service.
The hotel breakfast was mixed. The downsides:
The hostess station says wait to be seated but there was no hostess and when someone showed up we were told to sit where ever.
Most of the food dishes and drinks were mislabeled or not labeled.
On the first day of our stay the oatmeal was not cooked.
The positives:
There was a good assortment of items to choose from.
The food was good.
The staff was friendly.
I think breakfast (staff training, layout and process) is an area the hotel should work to improve.
The hotels location is very good, you can easily walk downtown and you are at the marina. The hotel was about 10/12 min. from the S C Johnson tours (Golden Rondelle theater ), about 15 min. to Wingspread and 18 min. to the lighthouse.
We enjoyed are stay and would stay here again.
