Bewähres Mittelklassehotel
Pros:

Älteres, aber teilweise renoviertes Hotel mit tansanischem Mittelklassestandart. Z.Z. Renovierung der oberen Stockwerke. Verkehrsgünstig gelegen an Durchgangsstraße mit bewachtem Parkplatz. Kleine Einkäufe bei Tankstelle nebenan.

Pros:

Chambre horrible pas d’eau chaude jusqu’à qu’un responsable soit appeler pour venir réparer, pas de serviettes dans la chambre il fallait les demander. Et une fois reçu elles sentait très très mauvais. On entend tout ce qui se passe dehors mauvaise insonorisation. Et petit déjeuner avec un beurre horrible. Bref FUYEZ !!!!

Great hotel - very cozy!

Well appointed rooms with a great breakfast. I had a wonderful stay at the ZakInn and was saddened to leave!

Excellent 3-Star property with free breakfast
Pros:

I had an excellent stay at the ZakInn Eland Hotel! I was sceptical at first because the property has not had many reviews – this is because it is under new ownership (it was previously the Savoury Hotel). The building itself is well decorated and welcoming and the rooms are more than adequate. My room featured powerful air conditioning, A mini fridge, luggage storage/safe area, and a spacious bathroom wit A mini fridge, luggage storage/safe area, and a spacious bathroom. There were also five satellite television channels on offer - many of them English (CNN/Movies).

The downsides - the rooms are in desperate need of a new coat of paint, with some scuffing on the walls. Internet service is provided, but it is very weak (roundabout 1 MBPS).

The staff here are excellent and welcoming, and I was greeted with a smile every time I encountered the staff .

The complementary breakfast buffet was very good, with different items being available each day. My most memorable menu items were the massive slices of avocado (the size of a cantaloupe!). Eggs or omelets are cooked to order.

Oh no I had a great stay at this hotel I would highly recommend it – it was actually very hard to say goodbye!

Pros:

Warm welcome when I arrived despite they had not received or found my booking.
There is WIFI on all floors. Breakfast is good. I chose this hotel because it is on the airport side of Arusha, so getting there from Kilimanjaro airport by taxi was easy.
