Shower wasn’t running efficiently. Low pressure.

Breakfast was very basic

Wi-Fi was bad in the room. It was ok-ish, because wi-fi in other places like reception was good. As a result, I spent my evenings in the hotel's lobby. Not ideal.

No return on the $100 bond

The bathroom (shower specifically) had mould growing along edges etc, room was a bit dusty.

Water pressure of the shower was not that good.

Uncomfortable beds and pillows

Large amount of mould in the corner of the ceiling in the shower. When I turned the hot water on to the shower, the tap came off the wall in my hand.

We left a phone charger in our room after check out. Phoned to advise less than 24 hrs later. We were told housekeeping had swept the room and removed our charger, however it was never handed in to reception . I know it’s our fault it was left, but disappointed with the response we received when trying to recover our item.

Would not recommend.
Extremely rude and unwelcoming behaviour from all staff.
Anyone can have access to hotel, through lift and stairs from 7am-8.30pm.
We’re people outside the entrance acting odd at times and walking inside.

Cleanliness and hygiene were appalling:
* Toilet had urine, appears to be pubic hair on the seat and lid upon arrival. Inside toilet there was used toilet paper left inside. It wouldn’t flush and required a part replaced to do so — only resolved after calling reception three times.
* Mould was present on the shower curtain and across the bathroom ceiling.
* The floor mat provided was dirty, and the towels didn’t appear clean.
* Curtains in the room had mould along the back of them , which also extended along the ceiling above the windows.
* Windows were coated in pigeon droppings from top to bottom. You would hear pigeons pooping , taping and mating .
* Bathroom fan was extremely dirty
*The surfaces were noticeably dirty, and many of the room’s accessories showed signs of rust.”

* The fridge was unusable until I defrosted it myself as it wasn’t working properly — it also had spills left inside from previous quest.
* Elevated was dirty and would drop roughly once on ground floor.
Room conditions were unacceptable:
* A pillow had visible blood stains under the pillowcase. The pillowcases and needing were wrinkled and appeared used.
* Only a single sheet was provided on the bed, with a small wooly blanket found in the wardrobe — which had a strong scent to it. When I asked for a replacement, I was laughed at and brought another one eventually.
* The bed itself was extremely uncomfortable. Wasn’t a king, was two singles put together with damaged springs with a big bold in the middle.
Noise and disruption:
* Plumbing noise from other rooms (especially showers) echoed and screeched loudly through the walls.
* Doors were constantly slammed throughout the night and early hours of the morning .
* Cars were doing burnouts and drag racing outside.
