WARNING. no POOL. They filled it in early 2025. BEWARE of traveling with grandkids. Booking.com and Residence Inn needs to say No longer have pool, not just leave it off the list of amenities. It is assumed that at this price point, most Residence have them. Worse, they are no longer allowed to send guests to other Marriott properties. So huge fail. We got three rooms and they were not clean. Whole property doesn't seem cared for. Great staff. Kind and great apologizers. Owners need to focus on the property not their profits so their team doesn't have to apologize. Sofa beds are worn out. 40lb grandson called it the metal bed because he could feel the bar, imagine what its like for an adult. Will ask for one room's money back. Wouldn't stay again. And Booking.com is so hard to contact--not worth the $20 you save when you have a problem. And half the time I use a reseller, I have a problem. Seriously, answer the phone after the AI puts you on hold for a representative. Five days later, no one has responded to the email. Just finding a number to call took 10 minutes and internet searches. They put it on the website but don't give you a number to call. This is my 799 night in a Marriott property and it would be in the 30 worst ones.
Clean, friendly staff, nice room
Check in time is at 3 and we had to wait nearly 2 hours to check into our room which made us late for our concert
Our room was very comfortable and clean, the entire staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast are is very nicely done with a lot of space. We would most definitely stay there again.
The rooms were awesome
That they advertised it at had a pool and a hot tub and it didn’t. My toddler was very disappointed. We checked out and left
We booked this hotel solely for the reason that they had a pool and hot tub so we were very disappointed to find out the pools were filled with concrete when we got there. Breakfast was ok, the cook did a great job keeping everything out for being by himself. Older hotel but very clean just wish they would update about no pool.
It was the worst experience. A lot of constructions. False advertising. No pool. And staff didn’t inform us of this prior to check in. Very disappointed and wasted money. Son birthday was ruined.
The hotel was great. I love the fact that it had indoor swimming pool and hot tub. The room was great. The only thing is the pillows kind of suck, the room was stuffy all night. I had to heat all the way down had the window open still didn’t circulate in the room but other than that, it was fine.
I have 3 days inbetween the last job and my next - not quite worth while driving home, so I hit the Residence Inn. This location is at the north end of Indy, with almost anything I might want nearby. Big room, kitchen of course, room to spread out.
Miguel at the desk does a great job. One bump in the road, he ironed it out.
Breakfast is good - and the pantry has enough so, when I feel lazy, I can just stay "home". So much better than a regular room with double bed.
Customer service was excellent. Breakfast was delicious
I liked the locatiom
The whole hotel was a construction zone. IT had a weird smell. The hotel was not clean. The staff in charge of cooking breakfast was coughing and hacking everywhere.
NOTHING
I got SCREWED by Booking.Com and Residence Inn. When I arrived at the Hotel, after driving 200 miles, I was told that they had NO RECORD of my reservation with Booking.Com. When I got ahold of Booking.Com I was told that the Hotel had "overbooked" so my only option was to drive another 10+ miles further away and pay $50 more for the same exact room at another Residence Inn. This was for a special occasion, for my 60th Birthday and NEITHER Booking.Com NOR Residence Inn is accepting ANY responsibility for this MAJOR screw job... I WILL NOT use Booking.Com or stay at another Residence Inn EVER AGAIN. They've lost me as a customer.
Overall good, but 2 out of the 3 T'Vs were unplugged and even the cable wasn't screwed in. We thought they were broken, but then figured it out. Other than that, it was fine for a night. Thank you
The free breakfast was a classic example of how having an individual who cares that prepares and maintains food properly can produce extremely positive results. Traci was a lady who clearly cared very much and did an outstanding job at breakfast. My wife was in food service at an elementary school and she always maintained that it was not the food itself so much as the preparation that was critically important in the quality of what was being served. The experience we had was a shining example of that.
The breakfast
For the price it was very low budget
The room was a lot more modern than I was expecting, and it felt like more of a home than some random hotel room!
From the moment we arrived, we enjoyed our stay. The woman who checked us in was friendly and helpful. Our room was well equipped with all the kitchen stuff we needed including plates, silverware, coffee mugs, etc. There's a couch and coffee table and a foot stool, so comfy sitting area. The beds were comfortable, the breakfast was expansive with cereal, fresh fruit, lots of toppings for yogurt like nuts and chocolate chips, eggs, sausage, microwave egg sandwiches, etc. And, nearby, is a really nice walking trail.
There were several places in the room that weren't cleaned including both the desk and the table by the bed. There were crumbs on the floor and I had to rinse off the dishes before I used them. Also, there was some ripped carpet in the room which was sharp when we walked on it, so it had to be avoided.
